My book for April was "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill.

Here are some notes taken from the book - they are all quotes from the book - not my ideas - just the ideas I liked.

Something I realized by the end of the book, this book is the pre-The Secret -but written years ago. Hill was told the secret from Andrew Carnegie. The secret has been around a long time.

Here are some thoughts I want to remember and share. Tomorrow some poems.

"Words are of no consequences unless you attach feeling to them." If you want to change in other words - feel the change.

"Anybody can WISH for riches, and most people do, but only a few know that a definite plan, plus a BURNING DESIRE for wealth, are the only dependable means of accumulating wealth." (We must have a plan that we can see and feel.)

"Maintain PERFECT HARMONY between yourself and every member of your Master Mind Group. If you fail to carry tout this instruction to the letter, you may expect to meet with failure. The Master Mind Principle cannot obtain where PERFECT HARMONY does not prevail." (If one works against you forget it.)

"Procrastination, the opposite of DECISION, is a common enemy which practically every individual must conquer."

"GREAT POWER CAN BE ACCUMULATED THROUGH NO OTHER PRINCIPLE THAN THAT OF THE MASTER MIND!"

"ONLY emotionalized thoughts have any ACTION influence upon the subconscious mind. It is a well-known fact that emotion or feeling rules the majority of people."

FYI- "Andrew Carnegie slyly dropped a certain master power he used – a magic law of the human mind, a little known psychological principle – which was amazing in its power." (To N. Hill).
