"What the caterpillar calls the end of the world, the master calls a butterfly". Richard Bach

Is it so with us?

The quote stands strong enough on it's own, although it does go along with a story I was sent once, from an old friend. A butterfly was trying to get out of his cocoon. A little boy was going to help release him from the cocoon, because the cocoon was moving and the insect inside was struggling so hard to get out. A man stopped the little boy from opening the cocoon just in time. He told the little boy, had he helped the butterfly get out, the caterpillar inside would have died before he turned into a lovely butterfly. For it takes all the struggling the little caterpillar was doing, to turn from his caterpillar state, to that of a beautiful butterfly.

So hopefully at the end of our life, we will have turned into a beautiful butterfly ourself for our master by learning though our trails and our tribulations. So when we feel battered, there is hope, for we are just learning how to be beautiful...

Love,
Chatty
