Don't compromise yourself. You are all you've got.-Janis Joplin

Okay, okay I like quotes and music. I think they help you process and think and grow. I'm an analyzer. I'm always thinking what does this mean and what does this person mean? How did they get this way? How can I take what I hear and see, internalize it in myself, and grow and change?

I read a wonderful Blog called http://www.wisdomwalking.net/. She had a blog on her feeling unsettled in so many of her areas of life. She asked for comments and I sent one to her. I think it takes a courageous person to admit they are unsettled and I think the truth is, they are more settled in life then settled people.

If you will let me explain.

Settled people stand straight and never bend. When a storm of life comes by (and they come about daily, if not more) well, when the storm comes, they blow over and crash. They can't adapt to life ever changing by being straight and uncompromising.

But a person who is unsettled, who has a little leeway or give, and when the storms come and they will, they are able to bend with the wind. They learn and grow and become adaptable.

We must be adaptable to change and growth.

Unsettled is good sometimes.
Love,
Chatty
