"Life is lived forward, but understood backward. It is not until we are down the road and we stand on the mountain looking back through the valley that we can appreciate the terrain God has allowed us to scale.” Jill Savage

What do YOU want out of life?

Jack London said that you have to go after what you want in life. He says to do it with a club!

Hmmm, not sure I agree with that, but I do believe that you get exactly what you want out of life -even if what you want is nothing - if you act on it. If you don't act (now stay with me here) - then that is an 'act' in itself and you get exactly the 'nothing' you worked for, by not working! Is that amazing or what? Did anyone follow that?

Meditation and visualization is good for your mind and health! It will propel you forward and rest your soul.

"There is no medicine like hope, no incentive so great, and no tonic so powerful as expectation of something tomorrow." Orison Swett Marden (thanks js)
How can you expect and dream about tomorrow if you don't think about it. I'm not saying don't live for the day either. I just think one always needs to keep a little ember burning for dreams - sometimes it takes 40 years (like Moses) to see the realization of your dreams.

So never give up. You can take a rest though. No one can work all the time and no one can play all the time. One makes a person no fun and the other makes the person irresponsible - life's a blend of both - and hopefully one learns when to play and when to work. A blend . . .
