Okay - it's Sunday so something related to church seems appropriate. Going back to my experience at the program they had last weekend for my nephew's rehab - one group played this song which I LOVE! It's country music and it's by Lady Antebellum. It's called I Run To You. I've heard it so many times and I know the feeling of needing someone and the pain you're in wishing for that person to run to.

Imagine thinking of that song - in a church - seeing people singing it with great passion and emotion - with their arms held high up in the air - singing to Jesus or God if that be your faith.

I never thought about that - you know - hearing the song on the country radio - thinking about love and earthly things - then transporting the song to another place with an entirely different meaning.

Kind of gives you hope.

Love,
Chatty

Hi Chatty -- I'm commenting on about a hundred of your recent posts. You are so ambitious with your lovely daily posts == and I can't even manage to comment every day! Anyway I've enjoyed them all and send best wishes to your family members who need them (well don't we all, but you know what I mean).

I printed out most of your hilarious jokes for some of my friends who aren't internet-savy (they are still out there), so they'll get shared around the walking group I go to here in OR.

Bill and I howled about your Atlanta post. We spent a little while there a few years ago and nobody out here believed us when we told them that every d&*n street was called "Peachtree." Bill has a good sense of direction, but he was totally at sea there. I told him now you know how I feel all the time with directions ;>).

You gave us all something to think about, with that song and lyrics. Bless you!

Bless you too Classy.

Sallie - you wrote the sweetest letter.

You are right about the Peachtree's. Interesting stories about the streets in Atlanta - they circle and bend and twist - none of the streets are straight or go by grid. I think the Indians named them and they followed the path of the rivers.

Now I was raised here - so I know my way around - plus I have a 6th sense driving - I go by what I feel is right - all the others get so mad at me! They have GPS's and get so frustrated. Funny.

Love the way you spell you name too - do you spell it for a reason that way? I do. I used to spell it Sandy until I turned about 15 - then I changed it to Sandie.
