Some help for Black Friday -

Holding off Fun Friday until tomorrow - to shake things up a bit and to help the economy to shop today...

Here is an article I read that I thought was interesting and since we're all going to be out and about today - here are some tips to avoid accidents. Shop to you drop and help the economy out!

10 Most Dangerous Foods to Eat While Driving from Insurance.com

Leading auto insurance agency announces list of top foods that cause car accidents and ultimately higher car insurance premiums - so don't eat any of these while driving and shopping today -

Top 10 foods to avoid while driving -

Coffee. Even with a travel lid, hot coffee can find its way out of the opening when you hit a bump.
Hot soup. Many people drink it like coffee and run the same risks.

Tacos. Any food that can disassemble itself will leave your car looking like a salad bar.

Chili dogs. Huge potential for drips and slops down the front of clothing.

Hamburgers. From the grease to the toppings, it could end up on your hands and the steering wheel.

Ribs and wings. What's more distracting than licking your fingers?

Fried chicken. More greasy hands. You've got to wipe them off while you're driving.

Jelly donuts. It's not possible to eat one without watching the center ooze out.

Soda. Carbonation. Fizz in the nose. Lids that leak. Disaster.

Chocolate. Try to clean melted chocolate off the steering wheel without swerving.

How widespread is this food problem?

Using a cell phone. Calling for carry-out?
Reaching for a moving object. Flying French fries?
Looking at an object or event outside of the vehicle. Where is Starbucks?
Reading. Or tweeting for the closest BBQ?

Here's a tip for those of you who like to eat and drive ~ Put a big dish towel over your shirt to catch all of the drips and spills! That's what I do! hehehe

husband ventured out this morning to shop; had to wait 2-hours in a line to check out something at Wal-Mart; they were having register problems; what a nightmare, he said everyone was a bit "testy". We were in a car accident in the summer with a girl who hit us from behind and we're pretty sure she was texting; its amazing to see what people are doing when they are driving, putting on makeup, eating, talking on the phone, texting, etc

you be safe!

Hi...So I pulled into a parking space at the Burger King today instead of driving and eating and God spoke to me.....as I took all my food out of the bag and carefully salted the fries...I turned back the bag so I didn't have to reach in far to get them out...then salted the burger..had a sip of Coke...No Coke Zero...Not good....then I flipped the bag and had all the fries hit the carpet...His way of saying.."You shouldn't be eating those fries"....I had a few sips of Coke and threw everything else out!!
Had a good day shopping though..Saved $66.00 at JoAnn Fabrics....bought a bunch of useless buttons.....$60. worth of stuff I didn't need...How was your day?

I did some shopping yesterday at Walgreens, CVS, and Dollar General... got some great deasl and there were no crowds!

My husband eats all the time while he's driving and it makes me crazy... I'm constantly asking him "do you want me to drive so you can eat that?"... and I've also had to drop a few hints by asking " do you want me to drive so you can read that... or do you want me to read it to you?".... it scares me to death... especially when he tries to read while driving.

Hope you had a great Thanksgiving!
