Happy 32nd birthday to my daughter . . . Pink Monday . . .

Susan B. Anthony : She traveled the United States and Europe, and gave 75 to 100 speeches every year on women's rights for 45 years. Happy Birthday

Irene Sendler - A hero - Happy Birthday

"You cannot teach a man anything; you can only help him to find it
within himself" ~ Galileo Galilei - Happy Birthday

And wonderful Mother Teresa - Happy Birthday.

My daughter's birthday is today too -last year was a hard year for her and I thought maybe doing something different and in pink - would help her to see things out of rose colored glasses and to know she is loved. (Got the pink idea from the Bloom Girls).

Here is the setting up of the party - the party was the day of the snow! We all forged on anyway. This is my niece, sister-in-law and great niece setting up.

My daughter's favorite thing from childhood was Strawberry Shortcake - she came to her party once and I made a Strawberry Shortcake Cake. Then Rainbow Brite. And she always loved her Easy Bake Oven.

The white paper item - my grandson made - it was the Eiffel Tower - which is mommy's favorite now as an adult.

Here they come in - notice the snow in the background!

She sees it and starts laughing.

Okay she's a little embarrassed.

Okay so the crown was way too little and my grandson is trying to help her!

Everyone getting their pink lei's on except my grandson!

I made every one do their blowers! People around thought this was so cute. They thought it was for my grandniece.

This is Strawberry Shortcake's Cat - lol. Peanut butter and chocolate ice cream cake - her favorite.

She got another Eiffel Tower from her room from her cousin.

Two Eiffel Towers.

Strawberry Shortcake and Rainbow Brite coloring books.

And what could this be they all wondered . . .

Yes, the famous Easy Bake Oven and we have lots to things to bake!

Happy birthday my girl - may all your dreams come true. Love, mom

Friendship isn't about whom you have known the longest, but about who came and never left your side. From JAS - whom it just so happens I've been friends with a real long time and she is at my side.

What a fun way to celebrate the child in all of us. I know she was thrilled with all love shown her by her family. And peanut butter, chocolate and strawberry or my heavens. You are such a loving Mom and she is a fortunate lady to have you.

Happy Birthday Kelly - and Sandie you are such a special mother! That was a super idea - surely it picked up the winter doldrums, and made a cheery start to a new year for Kelly.

Hey Sandie!

You sure do know how to throw a party girl! I'm sure Kelly had a great time and she will remember this for the rest of her life! You know there is only 10 years and 5 days difference in our birthdays! lol

Happy Birthday Kelly!

Hugs,
Angela

What a cute idea to bring back her childhood. You have a beautiful daughter and I hope she had a very Happy B-day.
Read your comment and I wished I lived closer too, especially since I got to meet all you gals but Sue said you gals might get together in April and that I am suppose to come even if there is a tornado, so I might see you then.

Sandie you put a lot of thought, heart and creativity into Kelly's birthday bash. She had pretty big smiles on her face, so I'm thinking that she had a great time!
If that didn't make her feel extra special....just don't know what could!
Nice memories for all you've given.
