Want to only talk about good news today?

Here's a task: Be the bearer of only good news today. In living out this task, note whether you find it difficult to maintain. And if so, discover why within yourself.
- Caroline Myss and Peter Occhiogrosso

Send me one piece of good news today - what one thing good has happened to you today?

For me the good thing that happened was - well two things - I got a call yesterday from JAS - my angel who holds me up - I was home, but just her voice. She is the happiest person I know - and you think it was an act - but it's not - she has had the same happiness now since 1979 since I met her. She is the direct opposite of a toxic person. And the crazy thing is - she thinks I'm special too.
Okay for today - this am - I have finally made my camera decision. I have asked every friend I know and they have all sent me information on their cameras. Very patient with me. And I have been going round and round and round and my head has been spinning. I have finally made the decision. I have peace at last. Silly thing I know, but ah, the relief . . .
Don't think I'll share which one as I don't want to hurt anyones feelings - but I do want to say THANK YOU to all my blog friends who helped me decide.
Now give me some good news today!

Happy Birthday to Rene Russo - she is so pretty - loved her in the Thomas Crown Affair . . .

Russo, an Italian American, was born in Burbank, California, the daughter of Shirley (née Balocca), a factory worker and barmaid, and Nino Russo, a sculptor and car mechanic who left the family when Rene was two. Russo grew up with her sister, Toni, and their single mother. She attended Burroughs High School (where her classmates included director Ron Howard), but eventually dropped out in the tenth grade. Due to financial constraints within the family, she began taking a variety of part-time jobs including working in an eyeglass factory, and as a movie cashier.

In 1972, the 17 year old was attending a Rolling Stones concert when she was approached by John Crosby, a scout and manager from International Creative Management. He told her she should be a model and had test photos made of her. Within a few months, Rene signed a contract with Ford Modeling Agency and within a year had become a successful print and photographers model. Soon her modeling breakthrough came when she appeared on the cover of Vogue. By 1975, she had appeared on numerous magazine covers, was one of the most successful models in America, and was also starting to be seen in several TV commercials through the 1980s.

You never do know what life will hand you do you?

The sun is shining and it's not going to snow again until this weekend. Whopee! Can't wait to see your photos with your new camera. I got a new one for Christmas and am still trying to get good shots.

Today's good news: My husband caught up with me in age this morning! From September until today, I am 5 months older.
We are 23 days away from becoming grandparents although we all know babies make their appearance on THEIR schedules, not according to a date on a chart.
My life is good. The glass is always half full. And as incentive for keeping it half full, you don't have to wash a glass that is still in use! :-D

Good news is that I get to go to Whole Foods for lunch with little Mr. Vundervants and meet his Poppi and then go shopping with his Mom without Mr. Vundervants in tow:)
I will be interested in hearing about your new camera and seeing all the photos you have fun taking.

My camera is a Nikon Cool Pix - pretty easy to use! When you said 'good news', I thought perhaps you had success with your trap!!! No dice yet?

I guess I should be doing a happy dance with my good news! My daughter actually had school today!!!!! A 2 hour delay but she is at school! My son of course didn't have school. It is still snowing but not accumulating!

I'm glad to hear that you have picked out the camera you want to get! I know how hard of a decision that is to make!

Hugs,
Angela

Good news? Hmmm, we are alive and well. We are employed. We live in a free country, sort of, anyway!
And....we're all still friends.

Hello~ this is my first visit. What a very whimsical spot you've got here. I love the variety of topics.
Hmmm, good news is...the sunshine that has graced us this month. a very welcomed surprise for the PNW which is always under a rain cloud, especially at this time of year.

I struggled with cameras and asked many others for advice till my head was spinning too. Ultimately ending up with a Sony Cybershot for the macro and price point. Someday I hope to graduate to a camera like my sons, who's macro lens weighs as much if not more than the camera itself, lol.

Come by for a visit your company would be nice.

Sweet wishes,
Sara

My good news was the sky was blue today.
There were no clouds. The sky was still blue when I got off work and got home.
I went for a walk and the frogs were singing.
A wonderful day.
