Wednesday - Hump Day

I entered Linda at A La Carte's blog to win Easter Decorations and I won! Now this was over a week ago - and I'm sorry Linda, that I didn't get it put it on sooner, but I had so much to do to get ready to present this tablescape!

The last thing was making the candy - which is tomorrow's blog.
Chatty is good at her work - although some time she's slow, but sure . . .

So thank you - I loved all the items. My grandson saw it and ran in and said, "Grandma the Easter bunny left some things off!" I think he meant it and he thought it was for him! lol

So here is 'My Easter Bunny Tea Party' - I had four bunnies come to it - my grandson, my niece and nephew (twins), and my new grand baby to be.

The four place mats, the napkins, the napkin holders - courtesy of Linda.

My grandson bunny which was another gift I'll tell you about on April 9th.

The clear Easter egg filled with yummy peanut butter and chocolate bars - my favorite candy - from Linda. This is my new grand baby bunny.

The glass candy dish holding the peanut butter eggs - Linda.

I bought this with a coupon from the International Market. We had to color the eggs - that took a couple of days.

This glass dish - from Linda (wow - right?).

The candy and dish - Linda - by the way my GS loved them! (Me too!)

My first try at making candy. I bought the dish at Home Goods. My second batch was better.

Oh yes - the two bunnies - my niece and nephew - my God children to be. Again place settings all from Linda.

So this is my first table scape. Had my four babies there (in bunnies). Showing you my gifts I won at A La Carte. She was way to generous!

So no, I'm not joining the real Tablescapes, but I am having my own. THANK YOU LINDA!

Now here's some thing to think about-

The afternoon knows what the morning never suspected.- Swedish Proverb

Your table looks adorable. I've been looking at the Reese's eggs -- favorites of mine, too -- but so far have had the willpower to stay away. Not sure how long I will last.

Hey Sandie, The table top partay turned out Fantastic! Oh wouldn't it be fun to dress up in an Easter Bonnet and sit down for a little tea with little people under three feet high? And the proverb/saying is just too darn right-on.

Sandie- what a precious table. I plan to add a few things to my Easter items at after Easter sales.

Ah so that is how she got her role in Cheers with the sister connection. David Llyod was a writer on that show too. Show ran a long time and was funny. Your table is adorable and you did a good job making your chocolate candies. Oh and Mr. Vundervants was with us on the trip and his photo was on my Monday post. It will make you laugh. Happy Easter and have a fun trip.

Hey Sandie!

Congratulations! That is so cute! I could see Andy thinking that the Easter Bunny came too! I know my Little Man would think that if he came home from school to find the table all decked out like that!

WOW! That really looks great especially to a sugar junkie like me. I think I'll show my wife your photos and ask her if she can do something like that for our grandkids on Easter.
