Simplicity

Before I Eat - New Carrie Underwood Parody by Anita Renfroe

(Okay I thought this was funny myself).

I am chosing to keep things simple the next few days - daughter is going back to teaching tomorrow and I have the GS for the next week - who I have to admit needs something about every five minutes! LOL

So simplicity is my key . . .

“Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated.” - Confucius

Happy Birthday to Jackie Kennedy - Wikipedia

Jacqueline Lee Bouvier Kennedy Onassis (July 28, 1929 – May 19, 1994[1]) was the wife of the 35th President of the United States, John Fitzgerald Kennedy, and served as First Lady during his presidency from 1961 until his assassination in 1963. She was later married to Greek shipping magnate Aristotle Onassis from 1968 until his death in 1975. In later years she had a successful career as a book editor. She is remembered for her contributions to the arts and historic preservation, her style and elegance, and her public stoicism in the wake of President Kennedy's assassination.

I have to admit - I love hearing about the Kennedy's - do you?

And Beatrix Potter - wikipedia

Helen Beatrix Potter (28 July 1866 – 22 December 1943) was an English author, illustrator, mycologist and conservationist who was best known for her many best-selling children's books that featured animal characters, such as Peter Rabbit.

Sandie, that was HYSTERICAL. I am sitting here at the computer, cracking up. You find the most HILARIOUS things to post. Of course, the after affects of an eating binge are not too hysterical but I have to admit, I've never seen a video with accompanying song on this subject. Thanks for the day's chuckle. Susan

What a great video...how do you find such great things to share?
You know, it is too true for me...I cannot diet because I am CONSTANTLY thinking about food and not being able to have what I want. If I do not diet - just eat less, I do not obsess over food.

What a great idea to feature the birthdays and a bit of history for some of our favorite celebrities! Jackie O was an amazing woman and I read everything I could about her back when the Kennedys were in office. Also Beatix Potter is one of my favorite authors...love those rabbits especially!

Our little dog is a sheltie but I do love Corgi's as well. Wonderful dogs! Thanks for the visit...I'm now following you!

Sandie, I'm BAAAAACCCKKK!
I loved Jackie.
Everyone always said I looked like Elaine in Seinfeld. Do you remember when she wore the big dark shades and scarf like Jackie? I have Jackie shades, too and when I had to drive a convertible IN THE RAIN in a homecoming parade, I wore my Jackie shades and a scarf and gave the queen wave. Why? Because I'm cool that way!
love, Cheryl
