Pink Saturday

I am trying to help some people today so I hope I get this correct. Katillac Shack did a make over (something like Home Make Over, but it is a room for a gal in need. The blog girls found out about a lady named Colette Gauthier. And they all became angels. (Actually they were angels and they were just unaware.) She found out she had stage four breast cancer with about a 5 to 10% chance of surviving and her husband left her. She and I believe her son live in a very tiny rental house. Katillac her work's for Guidepost heard about it - and she went to Colette's house and did a make over. It takes a couple of seconds to load.






It's eleven minutes long - I think it is worth it - but if you can't watch it just go over to either Katillac's blog listed above, Country Wings In Phoenix, or our host of today's Beverley's Pink Saturday and a leave a comment between Aug. 27 and 31st and each time you enter they will donate $1 to the next person in need of a make over.

Kind of cool! I am sure you have read about this on many blogs!

We are supposed to write an inspiring story today.

Humor to me is inspiring. Did you ever read Norman Cousins book about the healing power of laughter? I know it works because I use it all the time. Trust me.

So this is meaningful, it is pink, it is inspiring, it's about cancer, and it is funny! (And it is only a couple minutes long.)

This is one of my favorite poems ever. I have had to read and reread this passage hundreds of times - before I GOT it. You can read it and put different inferences on different words and make it mean all sorts of things. Now though. it is a part of me.
