Okay - now a positive thought to take with you through the day -

" "No pessimist ever discovered the secrets of the stars, or sailed to an uncharted land, or opened a new heaven to the human spirit." ~ Helen Keller

Is the glass half-empty or half-full?

How you think is how you will feel. How you look at life is how life will be. Pessimists are outright unhappy folks.

"Don't ever become a pessimist," urged writer Robert Heinlein. "A pessimist is correct oftener than an optimist, but an optimist has more fun and neither can stop the march of events."

Optimists make the best of any situation. They keep the spin positive. They look for the silver lining. With optimism, you can see the bigger picture better. There are no negatives to weigh you down.

"A better world shall emerge based on faith and understanding," said five-star General Douglas MacArthur.

Optimists are passionate and inspire passion in others. Optimists know they have to power to produce positive change!

As the very wise Benjamin Franklin once said, "Do not anticipate trouble, or worry about what may never happen. Keep in the sunlight."

~~Heaven opens to an optimistic heart. "

I have always been and optimistic which is so hard since I live with the king of the pessimist...lol...good says to live by.
And I do enjoy some of Elvis songs now that I'm getting older, believe it or not I couldn't stand him when I was a young girl and all my friends were drooling over him, go figure....lol

my gosh; someone put in a lot of work with all those songs and Elvis Presley! wow!!! I tend to be a bit of both; pessimistic and optimistic, depends on particular situations (like traffic jams, LOL for being pessimistic) but always optimistic that people can change......(thinking of some of son's behaviors in the past, LOL)

hoping it is a nice Wednesday for you Sandie!

I always try to think positive...unlike some of my family who are always thinking the worst.

You are so correct about negative thinkers! Since we can't control what happens a lot of the time, we need to control our response to it! Why be an unhappy, negative thinker when you don't have to be!

I am definitely an optimist...that's why my username is A Hopeful Heart. Can't have a hopeful heart and be a negative nancy, can ya?

My favorite Elvis song has always been "Can't Help Falling in Love." It was fun to listen to it..

Hope all is well with you and yours and that you're having a lovely week.

Love,
Patti
