Fun Friday with a little help from my friends . . .

From Monica

Aren't pugs cute?

This is Halloween

Bacon Tree
(Sent by Monica)

Two Spanish people are stuck in the desert, wandering aimlessly and starving. They are about to just lie down and wait for death, when all of a sudden Luis says...

"Hey Pepe, do you smell what I smell. Ees bacon, I theenk."

"Si, Luis, eet sure smells like bacon.”

With renewed hope they struggle up the next sand dune, & there, in the distance, is a tree loaded with bacon.

There's raw bacon, there's fried bacon, back bacon, and double smoked bacon ... Every imaginable kind of cured pork.

"Pepe, Pepe, we ees saved. Ees a bacon tree."

"Luis, maybe ees a meerage? We ees in the desert don’t forget."

"Pepe, since when deed you ever hear of a meerage that smell like bacon...ees no meerage, ees a bacon tree."

And with that, Luis staggers towards the tree. He gets to within 5 metres, Pepe crawling close behind, when suddenly a machine gun opens up, and Luis drops like a wet sock. Mortally wounded, he warns Pepe with his dying breath,

"Pepe... Go back man, you was right, ees not a bacon tree!"

"Luis, Luis mi amigo... What ees it? "

"Pepe… ees not a bacon tree. Ees

Ees

Ees

Ees

Ees a ham bush..."

Okay put on your glasses - Cheri has send me some mind riddles:

4. The last person took the basket with the egg in it.

3. All the other card players were women.

2. Pour the juice from the second glass into the fifth.

1. The recluse lived in a lighthouse.

Crystal Lindsey sent me a diet tip -

She also sent me this ~
My ex-wife started taking flying lessons about the time our divorce started and she got her license shortly before our divorce was final, later that same year. Yesterday afternoon, she narrowly escaped injury in the aircraft she was piloting when she was forced to make an emergency landing in Southern Tennessee because of bad weather. Thank God our kids were with me at the Beach House this weekend. The absence of a post-crash fire was due to insufficient fuel on board. No one on the ground was injured. The photograph below was taken at the scene shows the extent of the damage to her aircraft. She was very lucky.

And Jerry told has given us a hint when it is time to retire.

There is never a time that I can't think of a thing to put in my grateful journal. Today I am putting in all my blog friends and followers. People who comment or don't. People who follow or don't. People who send me jokes to put on here on Fridays (isn't that wonderful?). So I want to tell you all thanks for being my friend and making my blog such a wonderful place for me - and I hope you enjoy.

Now some thoughts for the day:

Doris sent me this beautiful quote:
‎"I believe in the sun even if it isn't shining. I believe in love even when I am alone. I believe in God even when He is silent." -- Author Unknown

"One must have chaos in ones self in order to give birth to a dancing star."

that cartoon about the costumes was toooo funny! loved the riddles too, but then couldn't solve any of them, but I'm glad you provided the answers today rather than us waiting until the next post and then the answers made perfect sense!

always a pleasure to come here and see what is going in your neck of the woods, Sandie; grateful and thankful that we found each other in the land of blogs!

Well, I for one am equally grateful for having this fun blog to read. You always make me smile!

Today, I smiled THE MOST at the first one with the toilet paper and the um...

And then at the broom at the end. So funny!

As always, all good!

My side hurts - I'm laughing too hard.

I'm proud of myself - I did get the answer to #2 about the OJ glasses. It was an accident...

The Bacon Tree - Gracias por HA HA!

Glad the crash didn't injure that...ahem, woman. What happened to the candy corn on her feet???

I'm thankful for you, too!
