Sorry I'm so late . . .

So I'll make it short and painless . . .

The world is such a wonderful place and this goes in my grateful journal today. A blogger friend I follow named Elaine made these for me. She had made some and had posted them on her blog. All I did was tell how how cool there were (and I wish I knew how to do it) and she made these for me.

I really don't know where she got the saying she put on there - it's about me - so somewhere on my blog. But if there is ONE THING I want for all of is and my blog is for that purpose is ~

LOVE WHO YOU ARE!

It kind of blew my mind and I had tears of joy - seriously - if you knew how important I feel this is - for all of us - whew.

And this one is again about me. The Wizard of Oz - Dorothy traveled and looked everywhere for what she needed - when all she needed she had - in her own back yard.

And the joy of Mama Mia.

It's A Wonderful Life - again he didn't know what all he had until he lost it.

We all have what we need - within. We just need to find it and accept it.

THANK YOU ELAINE.

Remember the other day when I asked y'all what the picture was of the rows of color - it was tulips:

Thoughts for the day (night) lol.

“For every day that there is sunshine, there will be days of rain, it's how we dance within them both that shows our love and pain. ” Joey Tolbert - poet

I'm later than you today!!! Been out collecting fun times for upcoming blog posts, not much pretty weather left! YES!! When we are too hard on ourselves, we need to ask ourselves "If this was your good friend, would you be this hard on her? Wouldn't you comfort and forgive her?" Of COURSE we would!! Yet we're not as kind to ourselves as we are to our friends. We are our own worst enemies. To quote Pogo "We have met the enemy, and he is us!"

If I lived anywhere near those big, colorful tulip fields, I'd be out there picnicing nearby every day...it would be like living on a rainbow!

What a sweet thing your frined did when she made those two thoughtful collages about you, Sandie.

I have finally learned to relax and stop and smell the roses and commune with nature every day - several times a day...it took a long time, but I guess I'm a slow learner ;-)

God bless you, my friend,
Doris and Gizzy

Last year Penniwig made jpg's on barnsiding using the bittersweet that I had sent her from Indiana. It looks very similar to what you posted, incredible.
Nice post...all ok in G-A?

Wow - You must have been thrilled by these great gifts ... what a talent!
... and isn't Blogland such fun, where we can play "Show and Tell" just like in grade school. (I wonder if they still do that?)

And also, those rows of tulips look like a painting, don't they? Such beauty! Thanks for always sharing such pretty, funny, interesting, etc. posts!

Your friend made some beautiful cards... almost as beautiful as your spirit and the way you make others feel. I may not be on here much lately, but I think of you often and smile... :)

Guess what my word verification is... "cramp" LOL
