Tuesdays Show and Tail . . .

I borrowed this from Sallie at a Full-Time Life.
Thank you!

A BOY AND HIS DOG . . . and Halloween of course. Okay - he wanted to decorate for Halloween all by himself - or should I say he and Disco wanted to decorate the house.

Be sure and join Angela at West Virginia Treasure and add your pet story!

I have to say he did a fabulous job - we see we are still missing some things.

So he's added red spray paint for blood.
More of the little fences. This is getting expensive.

Today we have to get some lights.

And a hanging ghost.

We bought a fogger and liquid fog for Halloween night.

And then will be done - I'll take a finished picture. This has been an expensive project. I had other things but they were 'sweet' things and he didn't want them in his masterpiece!

I have a feeling on Halloween night - Disco is going to be barking his head off!

I got a new follower today, but I can't find out who it is - if you let me know - I'll come to your blog and check it out. Thanks for following.

Your place looks so great! We never do any decorations for Halloween - so lame. I bet when the boys get bigger we'll put in an effort though.

The 1st picture made me laugh :-)

There are few things in life as wonderful as a boy and his dog. I wonder how many books, TV shows and movies have been made on that subject?

I had to double click on the sixth picture, because I spied a rat. And it looked so real! I'm glad to find it was a rubber one! :) I'm over here by way of WV Treasures!

WELL, I thought those three hanging people on the side of the barn were REAL men!!! Yikes! Then I clicked and saw they were just stuffed! Boy, you go all out for Halloween! Lots of houses around here do it up really big, as well! That fog machine will scare the life out of the tots!!! One house here has an inflatable coffin, and it keeps opening and closing with Dracula coming out.

Andy and Disco did a great job decorating your yard for Halloween! It looks all spooky ooky! Love it! It is funny to see how much Andy carries that Disco around! lol He is just the perfect size to do that. My dogs are just too heavy to do that.

Our family has never celebrated Halloween, so, of course, I don't decorate for it. (My kids have never gone trick or treating.) I'm glad, though, that your sweet grandson is enjoying himself with the decorations.

Hope you're having a lovely day.

Love,
Patti

My sons loved spooky stuff at that age too. After they became adults, I moved back into the 'cute' category of decorations but I'm sure with a grandson now, the time for eerie decor will happily return.

What a great job the little man and Disco did! I think watching a boy and a dog interact is an event in itself; the stuff that feeds the soul.

Say, when Andy gets through ... would you send him my way? :)

It's been ages since I've decorated for Halloween -- in fact, since my childhood, when the local merchants used to let kids come "soap" their storefronts.

Hi Chatty,

Just read all your other comments. They said it all...except thanks for sharing your sweet grandson and his lovable dog. The decorations are really great. Someone is talented...

Wow, Sandie. You and GS did an awesome job decorating outside the house. And red blood too? Yikes. I'd like to go there Halloween night.

We usually play werewolf howling music in the windows. It's scary as geewillikers! ha!

Thanks for visiting my blog and always commenting. You are a doll.

Take care, Sandie. Susan

GS did a great job, Sandie!! and of course Disco was a big help I am sure!! I noticed lots of people have decorated around us, some with orange lights; looks cool with them!

worst thing with Koda and Halloween is when the door bell rings, he thinks he should get a treat because at one time Federal Express would deliver my pay checks and the guy always had a dog treat for Koda. I put my checks on direct deposit but everytime the door bell rings, Koda thinks he is getting a treat (so what do I do? after I get the door and take care of business there, I go and give him a treat....)

Hi Sandie. Thanks for stopping by! We're actually in the Columbus area (Fort Benning). But Atlanta's not that far away and as soon as Jess can get to Atlanta, I need a Mabry-fix. Jess was my college roommate and a good friend. We haven't seen each other since they left WA a few years ago.
