Happy New Year!

TOAST TO BRING IN THE NEW YEAR!

May your home never be too small
To hold all of your friends.

May you live as long as you want
And never want as long as you live.

May the good Lord take a liking to you,
But not too soon.

May you have warm words on a cold evening,
A full moon on a dark night,

And the road downhill all the way to your door.

May your neighbors respect you,
Trouble neglect you,
The angels protect you, and heaven accept you.

Dance as if no one were watching,
Sing as if no one were listening
And live every day as if it were your last.

“Perhaps our eyes need to be washed by our tears once in a while, so that we can see Life with a clearer view again.”

Happy New Year to you, dear Sandie. Here's hoping the new year will be great for all of us! Now that the knee operation is over, it's onward and upward. Maybe I'll win the lottery and get on a plane and fly down there to go thrift store shopping with you and Linda! Now wouldn't that be fun? So happy to have met you this year, Sandie. Susan

Happy New Year y'all. Hang in there with the PT (I know it's always a love/hate relationship with them.)

I loved this one:

Perhaps our eyes need to be washed by our tears once in a while, so that we can see Life with a clearer view again.”

I thinks sometimes we all just need a "good cry".

I hope it is a very Happy New Year for you allo Sandie!

Just how did you get so wise? I am still in the wise-guy category. ;-)

Tell your therapist that you know "people" and that she'd better be nice to you. On second thought, maybe you'd better wait until she is done to talk about us! LOL!

My eyes have been washed in a lifetime of tears of happiness and sadness which should mean I have 20/20 vision.

Until next year Sandi:)

Happy New Year, Sandie!! And you now have a brand new knee to go with it, you will soon be jumping for joy!!! Isn't it great that this is now in the past!! I love your quote about the bend in the road. My dear friend had two knee replacements. The doctors told her they would only last about 15 years, this was a long time ago. But they lasted forever, way beyond that. In fact, they never wore out! And she used to call them her Cadillac and her Mercedes Benz!!!

Reading your post was a terrific way to end, and begin a year!
Take care. PT people only hurt the ones they love! If it gets to be too much...stick a 'tater up her muffler!

Oh, a BIG Happy New Year to you too, Sandie. And especially to your new knee. Did you toast it with a glass of champagne? (Second thought - maybe not such a good idea to mix that with the painkillers...just sayin')

Thanks for giving me so many chuckles and guffaws - I'm so happy we're friends.

Looking forward to more silliness in 2011.

And may GOD BLESS you and yours!!
