Saturday - two more belts!!!!!!!!!!!

For those who have followed my blog for awhile - you know my grandson is in Choi Kwang Do. He just received his brown belt and has only two to go! He's earned 19 belts so far!!!!!! Whoo Hoo!

At the end of the exam - the judges are at the table - the one on the right talked to them. He said see how small the testing class is? Only 2 out of every white belt that starts will end a black belt.

Here is my grandson receiving his brown belt - he passed!

Grandson and his dad.

Look how happy he was!

Now the thought for the day -

If I have learned one thing in this life, it is that God will not tie my shoes without me.
- Doug Boyd

God is not going to hand the Grandson his belts - yet we pray for him each time - but we pray and hope for the courage and the will power and the drive to hopefully get him there. No I don't think he could have gone this far without God - they helped each other.

Same way for this physical therapy I am in - whew.

Anyway - pray and ask God for help and be a team player - others will help too if you ask... you are never alone.

Good for him! This represents hard work, determination and encouagement from parents and grandparents who wanted him to achieve his goals. I'm telling you, they do need the village to give them the stepping stones for life. Pray, pray, pray and hug, hug, hug!

Congrats to your grand on his new belt. He looks so happy in the photos. So nice for the kids to have a sport that they enjoy so much. Now the teacher in the last photo is so handsome I think perhaps the blog gals need to take some classes:-)

Life has been beyond my endurance yet here I am ,yes Sometimes God will carry me in spite of myself and at other times God will lovingly wait until I realize God is simply waiting on me .
What a wonderful God we serve .
Thank you for bringing love, laughter, and a good dose of common sense to me this week.
Blessings to you dear lady !

How thrilling for him Sandie, You can see the absolute jou in his lovely face. Great to see Father and Son together.. Ask your habby to pray a blessing over your son and your son to place his hands on his son and pray a blessing over him. They should speak whatever words God gives them to say...
Still haven't seen the Doc, my appointment is on the 1st Feb. Echo results came back okay. Have valve leakage which they are not comcerned over. The hauler results are not back yet.

WTG to grandson!! so close and he will make it!! I bet he and you all will be so excited when he completes that last belt!! You can see his enthusiasm come through in his smile! I like to think God gave him the strength, endurance and patience to get this far and God is walking alongside him as he finishes up those other two belts. Just like God is walking alongside you in your physical therapy, giving you endurance and strength and comfort as you continue to endure it in your healing process.

Good job!!! Boy, is he happy or what? Look at that wonderful grin!

It's a good thing when kids learn the lesson of patience, discipline, and perseverance. These are good lessons to learn in our walk with God, too.

Prayer and hard work - sounds like a winning formula to me!

He sure is the spitting image of his dad, isn't he.
Congrats to you all. He's learning so much more in these lessons.
Hang in there during the gruesome PT.
