Wednesday - Hump Day - some things to get you through the rest of the week . . .

A little laugh.

Thought for the day:
Obstacles don't have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don't turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it. - Michael Jordan

Something to get the brain moving:

Now this is very strange:

This year we will experience 4 unusual dates. . . . 1/1 /11 , 1 /11 /11 , 11 /1 /11 , 11 /11 /11 . . . . NOW go figure this out . . . . take the last 2 digits of the year you were born plus the age you will be this year and it WILL EQUAL 111. Try it - it worked for me!

And for a little fun:

Update:
I had a lot to do this am and Physical Therapy was one of them. I am finally able to say to you I'm doing great. Praise God. My new knee seems to be doing well. I can bend it 110° with some pain and need to get it to 120° with no pain and to walk down steps and I will be back to normal - of course, what normal is for Chatty - who knows. Oh yeah - very little pain left - whew.
Anyway thanks for your prayers and concerns.

Love, chatty

Born Tubby Wild??? To funny. You always, always make me laugh. It's like daily medicine. I missed it while I was "unplugged" the past few days.

And I'm glad about the great progress with the knee. Have I mentioned that my mom climbed to the top of the tallest light house in the US (Cape Hatteras, sp?) the summer after hers?

There's a mission for ya...
Why, you can blog all about it.

It's odd how that number thing works. ???
I'm glad your knee is doing better, Sandie. I hope it will be feeling better every day. :)

That's great news Sandie! I'm glad to hear that you are getting better! Mom did that 11 thing with me the other day and it did add up to 11 but we did it with my husband's number and his added up to 12. The cartoon is hilarious! I can so see that happening right now with how cold and icy it is here.

It rained all night last night and this morning. Then turned to snow on top of all of all of that water from the rain. It is a mess! The bus was a half hour late getting the kids home from school.

Hugs,
Angela

I take great exception to that Michael Jordan quote. For there are very few walls that he can't just jump over in a single bound. Whereas, people like me are much gravity-challenged.

Yea! Thanks for that praise report, Sandie! That is wonderful news, my friend. Keep up the good work. Yea! You'll get the full range in no time. I'm convinced.

Sheila :-)

First of all, Sandie - I'm SO glad to hear about your knee healing. Less pain - praise the Lord. Back to normal? Chatty?? Keep praying...

I did that number thing -
Year I was born - 1954...so, 54.
My age this year - 29.
29+54 = 83

Hmmm...maybe it just works for people who tell the truth.

This is a very enjoyable post full of fun things but the very best part is hearing your successful report on the mending (and bending) of your knee. Hooray!
