Thursday - A new grandson and son...

"Age is a matter of feeling, not of years." ~ George William Curtis

This is grandma's feeling towards new grandson.

Hubby and I went last weekend to visit the new GS. It was amazing in so many ways. This little guy looks exactly like his dad did when he was little. I was shocked in away and I felt like it was my son again. Weird - huh?

Yes, my son had THE cubbiest checks you ever saw - I mean ever - until this weekend - this little guy might even have bigger ones. lol They feed him well.

Here is my guy looking at silly grandma taking pictures of him. His baseball uniform was a little soo small.

After looking at this - I have no earthly idea how people cannot believe in God - scientists, doctors, anyone. I mean all the parts are there - and yet man cannot make one single thing as good as he did.

Don't forget to celebrate - you are what you feel.
Chatty Crone.

This is my little guy 35 years ago!

Oh Sandie, love, love, LOVED seeing the photos. What a living doll baby. The similarities to his Pops are amazing, too. Ohhhhhh, proud Grammie. You have a right to have your heart fill to the brim with love. Thanks so much for sharing this darling baby boy! Susan

A new grandson - how wonderful for you! Many congratulations to you and your husband. A new baby in any family is very special indeed. What lovely photos, and you are quite right, he IS just like his daddy!!

I love this!! He DOES look exactly like his daddy, and that is just so cute to me. You definitely need to hang some pictures side by side.

I think that adorable falls too short in description. If I think of a word, I'll let you know.

I so very much agree about the very sight of a baby being evidence of our supreme high GOD.

Thanks for making me smile, Grandma Crone.

OMG they do look alike. What a sweet little grandson.
It's funny - I have often wondered the same thing when looking at a newborn - How can you not believe in God when looking at that perfect little package of love?

Like father like son - isn't it amazing how they can look SO much alike (and incidently so beautiful)!! (I'd forgotten about that kind of baby seat - I thought it was such an innovative and wonderful invention when I had one for mine three!)
Sachel Paige's quote similar to yours: "How old would you be if you didn't know how old you were?"

Oh my goodness, Sandie - first of all, those two look like clones!!

Please tell me that you squeezed and kissed those little cheeks over and over again - they're "cudorable" - (Debbie was looking for a new word - this is my hybrid between cute and adorable!)

You have much to be proud of - GOD BLESS!

loved how you included pictures of your son when he was the same age as your GS! how neat to see the resemblance too between father and son! GS looks so handsome and like he is perfectly content with life! I'm sure it was such a joy and pleasure to get to spend time with him and your son/DIL :)

Nope, your son is not getting away with saying that he ain't his kid!

Precious grandson! Look at that plastic carrier you son was in 35 years ago. Can you believe we used to plunk our kiddos into the car in those little plastic carriers with lite metal frames to prop them up? Plus we didn't even have seat belts.
