Japan - the Earthquake and the Tsunami

I want to devote this blog to the people in Japan. I can't even fathom what devastation is going on there - how many deaths have occurred- how many losses of homes and buildings - and what the future holds for this city and it's people. I pray there is no nuclear problems. I pray for these people. And while I don't understand why - I do know God is there and He knows the whole picture. Sometimes you just have to have faith.

Indeed, yes, we must keep Japan and its people in our prayers.

Oh yes, the people of Japan are in my prayers, and especially that the nuclear power plants there will be shut down safely.
The tsunami reached my city on the west coast of the US and caused millions of dollars of damage at our boat harbor. I am thankful no people or houses were damaged here.

It's amazing to see how things that happen so far away can have such a profound effect, both physically and emotionally, on the rest of us. It's a small world.

I echo your sentiment and send a special prayer and thought out to our stitchy friends who live in Japan as well as our Military personnel and their families!

Hi Sandie! All our prayers, together, will help the people of Japan.

Was so elated to hear the good news about Debbie. Now that WAS a miracle.

Like my Mom always said, "Prayer moves mountains." Take care, Sandie. Susan

I know it is such a sad situation; all of these events that happen are sad, Japan's earthquake, New Zealand's earthquake, the one in Haiti last year, etc. Makes me want to keep watching the sky because I know the birth pains talked about in Matthew 24 are coming closer and closer together; one day Jesus will come back and restore this earth and redeem it, until then we just need to pray, to have trust, and to continue to spread the good news about him to a world that so desperately needs to hear it.

My heart goes out to them too. I have been glued to the TV. Somehow the enormity of it all still hasn't registered in my mind. It is hard to fathom. I am praying for the entire country of Japan. This is going to be an overwhelming event for a very long, long time.

I also wanted to say thank you for your mention of my blog to Shanae. I have excepted her offer to highlight my blog post. Thanks again.

This may not be Christian or even nice, but I keep thinking, thank God it's not me or my family and friends.

Terrible things happen to good people just as good things happen to bad people...

All we can do is pray!

Hi Sweetie...
AMEN and AMEN. Yes let all of our prayers be heard around the world, as we pray for any and all who have been affected by this Tsunami. Even our West Coast friends are suffering in some areas that were hit hard.

Prayers around the world until each and every problem there is solved.

Before I forget sweet friend. I love your new picture icon. Love the haircut and it is SO you. Cute, CUTE and CUTE.

Hope you have a blessed Sunday sweetie. Many hugs and much love, Sherry

Amen Sandie! That is such a sad situation that is going on over there. Watching it on tv is like looking at toy cars and trains scattered about. It's just so hard to imagine what they are all going through.

Have a Blessed Day!
