Tuesdays Show and Tail . . .

Please join Angela for today's Show and Tail at West Virginia's Treasures. It's about animals - our pets - visits to the zoo - or just something about animals. Please join us!

Here is a secret about myself - if I could do anything I wanted for a profession and if I would be good at it - I'd be a photographer for National Geographic. I've always wanted to do that. Be in the wild. Capture just the right photograph at just the right time! It takes work, talent, education and more - none of what I did or have right now.
When I visit your blogs and your have gorgeous pictures on them and I tell you they are awesome - I MEAN IT! Pictures are one thing that really moves me.

Today I'm just sharing great animal photos - taken at just the right moment. Hope you enjoy. (And no, I didn't take them - but I wish I had.).

Okay that monkey there - reminds me of my grandson.

Look at that expression on the fishes face!

Cute.

Awesome!

Beautiful.

Hope you enjoyed them and appreciated all the hard work of those photographer - they had to wait - probably long hours - to take just the right picture. And of course the right and expensive equipment.

Love,
chatty

I am with you Sandie, if I could go back and do things over I think I would spend more time learning to be a perfessional Photographer. Even though I have always drawn and painted I alway wanted my work to be very realistic. My art teacher told me I needed to get a camera and just stop painting...lol...I should have listened way back then. I love these pictures. I am alway awe struck over shots like these.

i can't pick a favorite, I love them all, i would love to do what you would love to do, but one problem is I am a big chicken, as in scared of my own shadow, I don't fly in planes or float in boats and refuse to sleep in a tent..soooo that means I have to stay home and shoot... shoot!

Those photos are wonderful, thanks so much for sharing them with us, Sandie. The whole time I was looking at them, I had this big ole smile on my face...yeah, that would be a fantastic job! I agree! Talking about a wonderful life - getting paid for doing what you love - somehow seems, well, like stealing LOL

Love the little froggy hanging on that bud and the little squirrel getting a big ole licking from that giraffe must've been in shock!

They were all great! Thank you!

Hi Sandie...Loved the Walking in the Sunshine song. Had me tapping my feet underneath the kitchen table. Loved the photos, too. Sandie!!! Listen to me. YOU TAKE AWESOME ANIMAL PICTURES. You could have taken any one of those. That shot you got at the zoo of the animal's teeth? It was a wowser. You should do it, Sandie...start taking animal photos and submit them to magazines, INCLUDING National Geographic! Have a great day. Susan

Awesome photos. I'm with you, I wish I could be a nature photographer too. It would be difficult, but being outside with those great views would make it worth the effort.
