Fun Friday with a little help from my friends . . .

Laughter is God's gift to us to help ease the pains of life's tough times.*

http://www.andiesisle.com/newgame.html You will want to try this game out!

A man was sick and tired of going to work every day while his wife stayed home.
He wanted her to see what he went through so he prayed:
'Dear Lord, I go to work every day and put in 8 hours while my wife merely stays at home.
I want her to know what I go through.
So, please allow her body to Switch with mine for a day.

God, in his infinite wisdom, granted the man's wish.
The next morning, sure enough, the man awoke as a woman...
He arose, cooked breakfast for his mate, awakened the kids,

Set out their school clothes, fed them breakfast, packed their lunches, drove them to school,
came home and picked up the dry cleaning, took it to the cleaners and stopped at the bank
to make a deposit, went grocery shopping, then drove home to put away the groceries, paid the bills and balanced the check book.

He cleaned the cat's litter box and bathed the dog..

Then, it was already 1 P.M..

And he hurried to make the beds, do the laundry, vacuum, dust, and sweep and mop the kitchen floor. Ran to the school to pick up the kids and got into an argument with them on the way home.
Set out milk and cookies and got the kids organized to do their homework.
Then, set up the ironing board and watched TV while he did the ironing.
At 4:30 he began peeling potatoes and washing vegetables for salad, breaded the pork chops
and snapped fresh beans for supper.

After supper, he cleaned the kitchen, ran the dishwasher, folded laundry, bathed the kids, And put them to bed.

At 9 P.M. He was exhausted and, though his daily chores weren't finished, he went to bed where he was expected to make love, which he managed to get through without complaint.

The next morning, he awoke and immediately knelt by the bed and said: -

Lord, I don't know what I was thinking. I was so wrong to envy my wife's being able to stay
home all day. Please, Oh! Please, let us trade back ... Amen!'
The Lord, in his infinite wisdom, replied:

'My son, I feel you have learned your lesson and I will be happy to change things back to the way they were. You'll just have to wait nine months, though.

You got pregnant last night.'

Hope you think this is funny.

GIRLS ARE ABLE TO SPOT THE WORD 'LIFT' EASILY.
MEN FIND IT DIFFICULT TO SEE THE WORD 'LIFT'!!!

Another one I hope you find funny.
Thank you Monica

Our Easter egg hunt last week at church. I think this is his last year.

Hi Sandie...Fun post! Guess I'm pretty observant. Found 9 faces in the first frame! Hope you have a good day today. Susan

My day is off to a good start...I found all the faces!

I've already shared the jokes with my email buddies. Thank you for them. :)

Congrats to the GS for trying new foods (yesterday's post)! I hope it works out for you at home too.

I'm off to find something to write about that is more interesting than what I am actually doing today. Millions of novelists do this and make a living at it, right? They call it fiction. ;-)

I found 10 faces - it's going to drive me crazy until I find #11.

The game - I tried it for a bit, then I got dizzy!

Yes, love the story - men think we're such weaklings - if they only knew!

I saw LIFT right away...in spite of the black blocks. Does that make me a blockhead?

Loved the egg hunt pictures. Are you sure it's the last year??? Sniff, sniff.

I had no problem spotting the faces and the word LIFT, but I could not play that darn game...I would have to practice for a very long time to survive a fraction of a second LOL

I felt sorry for the lady with the cat - what a cheeky kitty ;-)

What happened there in the first photo when your daughter is frowning? Oh, my, what an "Easter Egg Hunt" ... I've never seen so many eggs out in the open all at once. I like the idea of hiding and having to find them better...

That was a good post, as usual, Sandie, I hope you're doing well.

I found the 11 faces without to much trouble. I think it comes from being an artist myself. Loved the rest of your jokes and I've seen the one vid before (school one) and know it was great, too!

Kody didn't get to come down this weekend, and Manuel and his kids were with us last weekend because they went out of town for Easter, but my niece's kids still had an Easter egg hunt at my sister's house and there were nine dogs there and some of them found eggs, too! LOL

Hope you are all safe and sound after the rest of the tornadoes came through today. Hope there aren't any more. It's been so awful for so many people over there.

Whoa, that image with the faces looks like what I see on surfaces almost everywhere, almost all of the time.

What a cute joke. :)
I enjoyed the egg hunt pictures. I just love watching the kids run around squealing and looking and having a great time. Katie still enjoys it and she's 13!

Sandie, How funny this was and touching too as GS has his last hunt (maybe). I love your videos and stories! Ann

Great post Sandie. I was getting exhausted just reading about the daily chores. Funny thing though, most women who work full-time somehow manage to do all these chores still. We are tuff and resilient.
Have a blessed week.
Hugs, Sue
P.S. Love the Easter pics.

I saw all eleven faces right away. Does that make me observant or just creepy? They kept popping out at me.

And the one on the lower left (profile) looked like Prince Charles to me.

Maybe I have watched too much wedding.

And I love your Easter egg pics, too.
