Simply Saturday - something to think about . . .

Inner Peace: This is so true - It's something to think about . . .

If you can start the day without caffeine,

If you can always be cheerful, ignoring aches and pains,

If you can resist complaining and boring people with your troubles,

If you can eat the same food every day and be grateful for it,

If you can understand when your loved ones are too busy to give you any time,

If you can take criticism and blame without resentment ,

If you can conquer tension without medical help,

If you can relax without a glass of wine,

if you can sleep without the aid of drugs,

...Then You Are Probably The family dog!!

And you thought I was going to get all spiritual.

HAVE A GREAT WEEK AND MAKE A LOT OF FOLKS SMILE.

Love, chatty

Thanks Jerry.

Well I guess I one of the few that doesn't start my morning with caffeine. Just never cared for coffee. And my family hates the way I wake up. I wake up at the first sound of an alarm, no snooze here, and ready to go. Usually singing whatever song is in my head.

LOL! I need one Diet Pepsi each morning to start my day.

the dog looks a lot like me except for the curlers, but I USED to use those ugly pink things many years ago

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH! Oh, that was a good one, Sandie. I definitely cannot start the day without caffeine.

Well, I suppose I could, but then a huge herd of elephants starts stomping on my brain with a headache to end all headaches. It goes away when I pour coffee down my gullet! ha!

Oh, Sandie. You are hilarious. I hope you have a GOOD day today. Shoot those shingles out the window! Susan

I was wondering how to be cheerful and ignore aches and pains. I thought - "seriously?"

It sounds like you scared a lot of us by starting off with the no caffeine thing.
It seems like our dogs have a lot to teach us.

I was lost on the very first one!! NO ONE wants me to start my day without caffeine!! LOL!

I was relieved to see I would have needed to have been the family dog to have passed the test! LOL!

Love that photo of the big dog and the little dog sleeping on his pillow...I enjoyed the three-D dot picture. I used to have a calendar entirely comprised of 3D pictures and I miss it!!!

Very cute! I was waiting for something profound but I got a laugh instead. That, also, makes it worth while to read this blog!

You know Sandie, I don't think I could take being a dog. I wouldn't want to eat the same food every day for the rest of my life!

Hope you are feeling better!

Angela

That's funny. Even though I drink decaf, I NEED coffee in the morning. I don't think I am crabby without it, just much nicer after I've had some. ;-)

You are such a stinker!!

Anyway, intended or not, it was a great spiritual lesson!

How are the shingles? (Actually, that sounds like a completely lame question - how are you supposed to answer??? Oh, they're great, lots of fun, not painful at all...sorry).

Here - this one's better - how's your roof???
