Fun Friday with a little help from my friends...

How many horses in this picture?

No. 5 Bus

A married couple trying to live up to a snobbish lifestyle went to a party. The conversation turned to Mozart. "Absolutely brilliant, magnificent, a genius!"

The woman, wanting to join in the conversation, remarked casually, "Ah, Mozart. You're so right. I love him. Only this morning I saw him getting on the No. 5 bus going to Coney Island."

There was a sudden hush, and everyone looked at her. Her husband was mortified. He pulled her away and whispered, "We're leaving right now. Get your coat and let's get out of here."

As they drove home, he kept muttering to himself. Finally his wife turned to him. "You're angry about something."

"Oh really? You noticed?" he sneered. "I've never been so embarrassed in my life! You saw Mozart take the No. 5 bus to Coney Island? You goober! Don't you know the No. 5 bus doesn't go out to Coney Island?"

Riding Lawn Mower - FOR SALE !!!

My Wife always wanted a riding lawn mower.

She works all day and was always tired when she came home from work and thought that a riding lawn mower would help her get the yard work done quicker so she would have more time for the chores inside the house.

SO, being the handy sort of guy that I am, I made her a riding lawn mower. I guess I thought she would squeal with delight or something and give me a big hug.

To this day I have never been able to understand why are some women are so hard to please !

P.S. I can see out of my left eye pretty good now and should be able to take the patch off some time next week!
Thanks Jerry

Thanks Marydon!

Cancel your credit card before you die.......... .(hilarious! – and yet so sad…)

Now some people are really stupid!!!!
Be sure and cancel your credit cards before you die.

This is so priceless, and so, so easy to see happening, customer service being what it is today..

A lady died this past January, and Citibank billed her for February and March for their annual service charges on her credit card, and added late fees and interest on the monthly charge. The balance had been $0.00 when she died, but now somewhere around $60.00. A family member placed a call to Citibank.

Here is the exchange :

Family Member: 'I am calling to tell you she died back in January.'

Citibank: 'The account was never closed and the late fees and charges still apply.'

Family Member: 'Maybe, you should turn it over to collections. '

Citibank: 'Since it is two months past due, it already has been.'

Family Member: So, what will they do when they find out she is dead?'

Citibank: 'Either report her account to frauds division or report her to the credit bureau, maybe both!'

Family Member: 'Do you think God will be mad at her?'

Citibank: 'Excuse me?'

Family Member: 'Did you just get what I was telling you - the part about her being dead?'

Citibank: 'Sir, you'll have to speak to my supervisor'

Supervisor gets on the phone:

Family Member: 'I'm calling to tell you, she died back in January with a $0 balance.'

Citibank: 'The account was never closed and late fees and charges still apply.'

Family Member: 'You mean you want to collect from her estate?'

Citibank: (Stammer) 'Are you her lawyer?'

Family Member: 'No, I'm her great nephew.' (Lawyer info was given)

Citibank: 'Could you fax us a certificate of death?'

Family Member: 'Sure.' (Fax number was given )

After they get the fax :

Citibank: 'Our system just isn't setup for death.. I don't know what more I can do to help.'

Family Member: 'Well, if you figure it out, great! If not, you could just keep billing her. She won't care.'

Citibank: 'Well, the late fees and charges will still apply

(What is wrong with these people?!?)

Family Member: 'Would you like her new billing address?'

Citibank: 'That might help....'

Family Member: ' Odessa Memorial Cemetery , Highway 129, Plot Number 69.'

Citibank: 'Sir, that's a cemetery!'

Family Member: 'And what do you do with dead people on your planet???'
Link
(Priceless!! )
You wondered why Citibank is going broke and need the feds to bail them out!!

Thanks Linda

Why do you do this to me? Why do fall for your games every time you post them? If I had a job to go to, I would be late all the time and I would most definitely blame you! LOL!

...Ahem... (stepping away from danged monkeys)

I saw 5 horses. How many did you see? Does alcohol assist or impede counting of equine? If it helps, meet me back here after 5:00 tonight. I'd meet you earlier, but we don't want to get a bad reputation.

Oh you found such great ones to share. I do like that artist who painted the horses and have seen a book of her paintings. A giggle is welcome any day, and it is a nice way to start the weekend.

Nooooo! You didn't tell us how many horses at the end! I counted four? Everything here is so cool, a wealth of fun stuff. Your blog is like an arcade, only we don't pay for each thing! Love the riding lawnmower and will show it to Phil. Hmmm, guess I don't need to go on a diet to lose weight, just stay off the computer! I don't know which would be worse!

Sign me up for the five horses club. Loved today's post. The old lady shoving the four guys out of their car at gunpoint was hilarious. You find some good ones, Sandie. Susan

I saw four horses but I see in other comments some people are saying five. I just have trouble counting that high.

I love the credit card story. My grandfather died in the 1970's and he never had a credit card. We keep getting mail in his name where he has been "pre-approved" for a card. One of these days I'm gonna take it and go shopping. Lol

I would have commented about an hour ago but I was slightly busy trying to beat my personal best on monkey kick off.

Hi Chatty,
Hows it going? I love the riding lawn mower! I'm doing better. I found that it was hard to comment if I was in pain so blogging has been a little slow.
Cheers,
Shanae
