Monday - I'm back from no where! - I've missed my Vitamin F's!

Okay dear blog friends - I have missed you !
Funny thing is that I received the most comments I've ever gotten on the post about me taking a staycation - wonder what that means? lol

Why do I have a variety of friends who are all different in character ?

Some of them can be considered marginal even?
How do I get on with them all ?
I think that each one helps to bring out a "different" part of me...
With one of them I am a polite, good girl.
I joke with another friend.
I sit down and talk about serious matters with one of them.
With another I giggle at every silly thing.
I have my tea with one
And dance with another.
I listen to one friend's problems and give him or her advice.
Then I listen to another advising me.

They are all like pieces of a jigsaw,
When completed they form a treasure box.
A treasure of friends!
They are my friends who understand me better than myself,
who support me through good days and bad days.
They are like colorful anti-depressants that I take on different days.

Real Age doctors tell us that friends are good for our health.
Dr. Oz calls them Vitamins F (from Friends) and counts the benefits of friends to our well being. Research shows that people in strong social circles have less risk of depression and terminal strokes.

If you take Vitamin F constantly you can be up to 30 years younger than your real age. The warmth of friendship stops stress and even in your tense moments it decreases the chance of a cardiac arrest or stroke by 50 %.

I am so happy that I have a stock of Vitamins F !

In summary we should value our friends and keep in touch with them.

We should try to see the funny side of things and laugh together, not forgetting
to open our mouths big to swallow the floating vitamins F !!!!

Thank you for being my vitamins! I am missing my Vitamin F !

(Thank you Ann for sending this to me so I could share with all our other vitamin F's!)

Well I'm back you lucky Vitamin F's and I'm so thankful and blessed to have all of you!

I have redone my blog and if you have a blog button - let me know!

smiles thru the pines my friend, I was thinking serious about a staycation myself, I had not told anyone except "Happier Than A Pig In Mud",but we lost our best friend(Dale-our yard dawg)of 12years, I've been sooo blue for days, can't seem to shake off the funk.I thought about posting of our loss but didn't want to bring anyone down.~sigh~

I always enjoy reading your entries. This one was especially nice - vitamin F. got to remember that. Also I don't have a blog button but I would love to get one for my blog. How do I do that? Where do you go?

Thanks for sharing that verse with us, I also often wonder at the vast variety of people we meet and seem to get along with in blogosphere. I would love to meet up with lots of my blogger buddies but wonder what would happen if we were meet - wouldn't it be awful if we didn't get along?

Anyway, glad to see you back.

this is the first time i have heard of Vitamin F's and it is oh so true. lots of good things come from V F's and glad you are back in the blog world again and home safe and sound. I like that word staycation a lot. i am thinking a lot of our VF's need a staycation away from computers and maybe even TV sets. someone once said they took an away from screens vacation for a week. not sure if i could do that unless i was off somewhere away from home.
welcome back CCVF

oh.. so nice post.)
Love your blog.))

I now spend a survey of bloggers with such questions.
1. Why did you create a blog?
2. For whom you taking him? Want to be popular?
3. How long will it keep going?

Vitamin F -- What a great way to think about it. Blogging has been like a daily shot of Vitamin F for me. I look forward to interacting with so many new friends from so many different backgrounds.
Glad you are back.
PS - Like Retired Knitter asks - tell us about blog buttons. How do you make one?

I'm glad to see you back! I've been actually blogging the past few days - something I've not done for a while. I'm enjoying it, but I'm falling behind with other things - oh well...there's just not enough hours in the day, but I do agree with you, blogging has put me in touch with a lot of wonderful, caring people whom I have otherwise not met. I'm glad to see that there are so many sweet people in this world.

Thanks for being my friend :-)
With Love,
Doris and the Gizz!

Welcome back from vacation. Hope you didn't get sunburned. :) Isn't the blog button the same or did you change it? I wasn't sure what you meant. Like the new background with the black curly things. I don't normally open blogs up to the full window size when reading. I should so I see everything.

OK, I've staggered through this past week without you - like a thirsty woman in a very dry desert. My last words? "Vitamin F...need more Vitamin F..."

Great to have you *back* - missed you! So glad that you're a friend of mine!

Oh, I can feel the Chatty blood surging through me again...

(P.S. I have a new blog button, don't know if you want to replace the old one or not - doesn't matter - just thank you for featuring me at all!)

Welcome back, I missed you!! Your blog is so cute! So did you get all nice and rested and refreshed, or did you start getting run down and had to get your vitamin fix?

Glad to see that you're back :-)
What a great text about Friends - thank you for sharing! I believe that we meet certain people for a reason - just as you say, bring out something within you - it's important to have someone/s to share things with :-) Have a lovely evening!

By the way, thank you so much for writing your heartfelt comments in my blogs, sweetheart.

What a great analogy, Sandie!
I, too, was tickled to "see" your face on my monitor.
Thanks for being my Vitamin F :)))

I love the quotation, but don't you wish we could become good people by laying on a beach in Hawaii?

I loved this post about blogging friends. I didn't have any friends in my life (I did years ago) until I started blogging. My friendship with bloggers has made my life so much happier. It does feel like I've been given a super vitamin shot!
