Show and Tail

Please Join Angela over at her Show and Tail Post - she hosts a place where we can write about animals, share some pictures, or tell about interesting facts about animals.

Now how do these animals relate to my last picture?

Hubby and grandson.

Know how you buy the kids toys and they like the box it came in better? Same with paper plates.

Again with the paper! See his cow licks on his hair line - think he might have some curls.

Now the eyes are my DIL but those cubby checks are definitely his daddy's. They look like he has food stored in them. Son exact same way as a baby.

Okay both grandsons and daughter and DISCO. Take a look at the direction Disco is sitting in.

Grandsons and DIL. He loved his older cousin - I think he knew he was littler like him.

Okay see Disco. He was a rescue dog. Had suffered neglect and we think abuse from his behavior. So what did we do but spoil him. He went from being neglected to a male diva. He was good, but so jealous of the baby. He couldn't relax - kind of pouted. And just looked on. By the time they left he was exhausted!
No worries. He's back to be rested and spoiled again.

A man and his dog were walking along a road.
The man was enjoying the scenery, when it suddenly occurred to him that he was dead.
He remembered dying, and that the dog walking beside him had been dead for years.
He wondered where the road was leading them.
After a while, they came to a high, white stone wall along one side of the road.
It looked like fine marble..
At the top of a long hill, it was broken by a tall arch that glowed in the sunlight.
When he was standing before it, he saw a magnificent gate in the arch that looked like mother-of-pearl, and the street that led to the gate looked like pure gold.
He and the dog walked toward the gate, and as he got closer, he saw a man at a desk to one side.
When he was close enough, he called out, 'Excuse me, where are we?'
'This is Heaven, sir,' the man answered.
'Wow! Would you happen to have some water?' the man asked.
'Of course, sir. Come right in, and I'll have some ice water brought right up.'
The man gestured, and the gate began to open. 'Can my friend,' gesturing toward his dog, 'come in, too?' the traveler asked.
'I'm sorry, sir, but we don't accept pets.'
The man thought a moment and then turned back toward the road and continued the way he had been going with his dog.
"Excuse me!' he called to the man. 'Do you have any water?'
'Yeah, sure, there's a pump over there, come on in.'
'How about my friend here?' the traveler gestured to the dog.
'There should be a bowl by the pump,' said the man.
They went through the gate, and sure enough, there was an old-fashioned hand pump with a bowl beside it.
The traveler filled the water bowl and took a long drink himself, then he gave some to the dog.
When they were full, he and the dog walked back toward the man who was standing by the tree.
'What do you call this place?' the traveler asked.
'This is Heaven,' he answered.
'Well, that's confusing,' the traveler said.
'The man down the road said that was Heaven, too.'
'Oh, you mean the place with the gold street and pearly gates? Nope. That's hell.'
'Doesn't it make you mad for them to use your name like that?'
'No, we're just happy that they screen out the folks who would leave their best friends behind.'
Thank you Linda

Have you read the book Heaven is for Real? If not read it! Great book. It is the story of a child who died and went to Heaven. He came back and told his dad over the course of a few years what he saw. He could not have know any of it. Said he saw animals in Heaven. That would be nice.

Cute pictures, Sandie...I know you were thrilled to get to see that precious little boy.. All three of my sons looked like their Daddy.

Disco is the KING... He certainly didn't want any other 'kings' in HIS house... Bet he was exhausted --trying to 'protect' his territory... ha ha

Hugs,
Betsy

Cute photos! My, how big Will has grown! He does look like a healthy little fella! Poor Disco was confused! Some dogs are afraid of babies - I know Gizzy is.

I've heard that story before and I would not want to go to heaven if animals were not there!

Chubby cheeked kids, doggy divas and a 'heavenly' moral story - you really so spoil us.

I think babies just know other children. I used to notice that when my kids were little. They would become almost fixated watching what they did.

Cute pictures and I love the chubby cheeks!

Beautiful grandson! My older dog is jealous of the younger dog. She has to have the same amount of attention.

Toooo cute ...Baby AND Disco, that is!)
I'm struck how much your son resembles his dad!

Aw, poor Disco! Playing second fiddle to a baby! lol Sometimes they just don't like that at all! lol I was surprised when I had my daughter. Everyone told me I would have to get rid of my dog. My dog loved my daughter and looked after her like she was her own! It was funny!

Your grandsons are sooooo cute! Love those chubby little cheeks! Thanks for sharing!

Your little GS is sooo cute! Getting so big too, sitting so well by himself!! I can imagine Disco was besides himself. Koda was the same when when I watched a baby for a few weeks one time while the mom was finishing up her college classes for one day a week. He would just pout the whole time the baby was there (newborn so I held it most of the time).

I'm sure older GS will be a wonderful mentor for younger GS as they grow!

I have heard of that book Heaven is for Real. I would imagine there would be animals in heaven, after all God created them, right?
