Day 3

Winner of the red pitcher was number 17 - Sandra at Madsnapper, but she wasn't playing - so I did it again and it was number 5. This and That/ Flora - comment number 5 - please send me your mailing address - from Canada!
Thank you.

Okay how this works.

Leave one answer per comment - up to three comments/chances a day to win. I 'll pick a number around 11pm giving every one a chance to leave a comment/comments.

Now here is how to get three chances.

1. You get one chance if you are a follower.

2. If you are a follower leave a comment.

3. You get a third chance if you are a follower and you mention my giveaway on your blog. Once is enough.

What is the prize for today?

#3. A brand new file box to keep your cards organized from Hallmark. A couple of cards are included and files.

Thought for the day-

Be specific with your prayers. Give God the number of the flight. Tell Him the length of the speech. Share the details of the job transfer. He has plenty of time and compassion. He doesn't think your fears are foolish or silly. He's been where you are. He know how you feel. And He knows what you need.

I was out of town this weekend, and I am JUST getting caught up. I see this follower of yours missed chances already.

Oh well, jumping into the pot now.

I love the Lucado advice at the end. It kind of goes with a "Pray Big" post that I read on "Bits and Pieces" recently.

Sorry I wasn't able to stop by earlier this week. I had to go to Richmond yesterday for work stuff and wasn't able to get online at all! Now I've got a lot of catching up to do!

i never win anything, so that is very unusual. i like the quote about telling God. i think God answers detailed prayers and also a single cry for help, Like Help Me Lord when nothing else will come

Hi Sandie, Do you find that people come to your blog out of the woodwork when you have a giveaway????? People love them --but how many people reciprocate? So many takers in this world and not many givers (like you)....

Love the Lucado quote today.
Hugs,
Betsy

DARN. Cannot leave this comment unless it's anonymous. Google cracks me up. One day I can leave comments with my photo, other days, nope. Today's apparently a "nope" day.

Anyway, loved the idea of giving details of a request to God.

Take care, Sandie. Thanks for all your visits and comments to my blog. Susan from writingstraightfromtheheart.blogspot.com

I so, so loved that quote. Yes, tomorrow (Wed) I'm posting something about prayers to God. You're so right - He wants to hear it ALL - every last detail. He delights in hearing His children speak to Him - He cherishes their dependence on Him.

GOD BLESS!

Sandy, my computer is stuck in some kind of weird mode, and I won't be able to get it to the geeks till next week when I get home. I'm out of town. Anyhow, I'm at a friend's house right now, borrowing her computer. Just didn't want you to think I had dropped off the earth.

XO,

Sheila
