THE LIVING BRIDGE

This is a perfect example in my mind - how God and helping yourself work together.

Nothing is possible without God first. Then we have to decide how to use his gifts. We have to be smart and think things out. Then use what he gave us.

This is so awesome. Thanks Linda B.

"You would be surprised how many people quit when faced with obstacles. As every good salesman knows, everything may not be possible today, but sooner or later it is possible." ~ Earl G. Graves

Great example about never giving up!

This is a beautiful place, and I love the last shot of the double bridge. I have seen one of these, must have been on a blog or something, but it was just a picture, I didn't know the whole story! Wonder how they get the walkway down?

That was fascinating, and the living bridges are so beautiful to me. I would love to visit that place and walk across them.

There are probably a hundred life lessons, and lessons on faith just from those bridges.

Thank you. LOVED it!

Can you imagine living some place like that? (I can't; I don't think I'd survive, LOL) It is beautiful though! Wow with that bridge; absolutely utterly amazing!! And to grow/live for 500 years!! thanks Sandie! (I do get your message too; we do need to work with the talents/gifts God has given us :)

Hi Sandie, nice movie indeed. God has given us more than we think - we just need to discover how to use our gifts :) Enjoy your Saturday my dear friend!

so often the word "awesome" gets overused. In the case of the Indians and their living bridge, the word is spot on. Simply Awesome.

Amazing! Many lessons to glean. A very important heritage to leave behind. If only we could make this kind of difference in our "modern world" for our future generations rather than leaving them a giant mess to clean up--if it's even possible to clean up!!

Thanks for sharing this!! My kids will love seeing it too. :-)
