Music - thoughts for you today.

My daughter sent this to me - and I love country music and I love Lady Antebellum - I hadn't heard this yet - but it is so awesome - love the words.

Lyrics | Lady Antebellum lyrics - Never Alone lyrics

"We need magic, and bliss, and power, myth, and celebration and religion in our lives, and music is a good way to encapsulate a lot of it." ~ Jerry Garcia

I really like songs like this one---they surprise you when you think about them because on the surface they seem to be pretty straightforward, but then you realize a deeper meaning.

Life without music? No, nothing I'd ever even consider! And like everyone else who has commented, I have to say that the pumpkin pie pic is just a hoot!

What a beautiful song! And I love them also. I have yet to get one of their CD's but I think I may put it on my Christmas list for this year! Hope you're having a great day!

Hi Sandie! I had not heard of that singer. (Sometimes I live under a mushroom.) These days I've been in to Vince Gill. He has SUCH a mellow, wonderful voice. Take care and have a sweet day. Susan

I love this and like the link with the scrolling words. Do you sometimes think you know words to a song and are surprised when you see them in print?

Back in the 70s I worked with a woman who asked me about Carly Simon's "You're so vain" line "you had one eye in the mirror". She honestly thought it was "you had one eye in my liver" LOL!

That is a beautiful song, Sandie. I'm a fan of Lady Antebellum. The pumpkin is hilarious! I'll try not to visualize that when I'm next eating a slice of pie!

I'm a country fan and a Lady Antebellumfan as well. This is a beautiful song. I, too, love that lyrics scrolling diddy you have. You never cease to amaze me at your gadgets. I am a little challenged in that area.

I also like Lady Antebellum.. I love country music... More and more great music is coming out --through the country medium... It's hard to keep up with all of the new artists in country music these days...

Thanks for sharing.

I've always liked country music but my husband hates it. I'm on my laptop now and can never hear videos on it so I'll have to listen to the song later.
That picture of the pumpkin cracked me up

I have to wait to click to hear it until I'm alone in the room. I did love the lyrics.

But my main reason for coming here is to say WOOOOHOOOO...

I found a wonderful box on my front porch this evening! I'm not sure when it was left. You would think I would be more watchful.

I'm so exited and appreciative. I want to do a "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" tablescape now.

My brain is already clicking...

THANK YOU!

Loved listening to the song--such powerful and uplifting words and music--thanks for sharing it. The Skywatch photo was at sunset--I usually am not "up and around" to catch many sunrises (I'm a night person). I know early morning is a beautiful time of day, and I am going to try to be better about getting up earlier, but it is hard when you stay up till 12 or 1 every night. Have a great weekend. Mickie :)
