Animals Tails

I hope to give you your good awe feeling to start the day!

"A dog's seeing-eye dog"
This is so beautiful.

Lily is a Great Dane that has been blind since a bizarre medical condition required that she have both eyes removed. For the last 5 years, Maddison, another Great Dane, has been her sight. The two are, of course, inseparable.

Thought of the day:

"People will forget what you said; People will forget what you did. But people will never forget how you made them feel."

Dogs too. So what makes you go awe?

Oh Sandie,
Those dogs are just so sweet. It makes me so sad to see an animal like this, but having its own seeing eye dog is so up lifting. Thanks!!

Very good thought to remember, Sandie! Especially this time of year when everyone is stressed, so we should take that extra minute to be kind to all!

Cute cartoon, LOL!

Have a good day!

My hubby showed me these picture sof the dogs the other day. They were beyond touching.

Have nothing funny to say today. I bawl when I see tender moments and kitty cats, dogs, and horses get me all the time. Oh yeah, elephants too, I just love elephants. I'd adopt one, but my neighbors might complain.

I love your post! I'm so happy that I stopped by your blog this morning. Your closing quote is just what I needed to read before heading out my door to go to the nearby school where I'm a kindergarten classroom volunteer. I hope to make each one of those little ones feel special today. I know they do me!

Such a touching story Sandra. The quote is so true! When I see stories like this or a child helping an elderly person or a helpless animal...I go awwwww. That always touches my heart and gives me more hope for this world.

This is amazing, wonderful pictures!! Phil was just asking me, wouldn't I rather put a dog to sleep rather than to have it live blind, a hard decision!

So very true. What great buddies they are. Years ago I took my daughters to the Humane Society so they could each pick out a kitty. While there I saw 2 Siamese cats, one blind and one that was it's buddy. I could not bring home 4 cats but I often wondered and hoped that someone did pick them.

This was just so precious - how it touched my heart. You know that I love dogs - in my opinion, their hearts lie very close to the heart of God.

What makes me go awe??

A sunset, a snow-capped mountain, the ocean, the vast and quiet desert at night.

God makes me go AWE...
