Fun Friday with a little help from my friends . . .

Maggie the English Mastiff vs. Dude the Chihuahua (Thank you Linda at Country Corgi.)

Chatty is sooooooooooooo crunchy! But at least I'm not old. (Thank you Linda at Country Corgi - I think!)

This is how my Christmas decorations are coming a long so far.

Now out in paperback!!
The book "Understanding Women" has finally arrived in book stores:

(Thank you Linda from Corgi County!)

And I can't do a Friday post without my friend Jerry- As The Cracker Crumbles.

An Italian Mama
Mrs. Ravioli comes to visit her son Anthony for dinner.
He lives with a female roommate, Maria.

During the course of the meal, his mother couldn't help but notice how pretty Anthony's roommate is.

Over the course of the evening, while watching the two interact, she started to wonder if there was more between Anthony and his roommate than met the eye.

Reading his mom's thoughts, Anthony volunteered, "I know what you must be thinking, but I assure you, Maria and I are just roommates.''

About a week later, Maria came to Anthony saying, "Ever since your mother came to dinner, I've been unable to find the silver sugar bowl. You don't suppose she took it, do you?"

"Well, I doubt it, but I'll email her, just to be sure." So he sat down and wrote an email:

Dear MaMa,

I'm not saying that you "did" take the sugar bowl from my house ; I'm not saying that you "did not" take it.

But the fact remains that it has been missing ever since you were here for dinner.

Your Loving Son
Anthony

Several days later, Anthony received a response email from his MaMa which read:

Dear son,

I'm not saying that you "do" sleep with Maria, and I'm not saying that you "do not" sleep with her.

But the fact remains that if she was sleeping in her OWN bed, she would have found the sugar bowl by now.

Your Loving MaMa

Moral:
Never Bulla Shita you MaMa You gotta admit that was funny.

All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth!

Thought for the day:

True love - is being loved whether you have abs or not!

Love the sugar bowl story. I'll have to remember that one. That is one SMART mama!!
I have seen the 'Understanding Women' picture on Facebook. One lady commented and said it was only Volume 1. I thought that was funny.
Hope you have a great weekend, my friend.! We're hoping to put up our tree tomorrow. :-)

Hi Sandie...Well, you started my day with tears AND laughter. The little girl singing about the Hippo was so adorable it made me cry. What a FABULOUS little voice!

And the sugar bowl story gave me a huge belly laugh....my hubs, too. The two of us sat down in the man cave, laughing our heads off.

Great job! Have a super Friday. Now that mine is off to a good start, I'm sure my day will be good, too! Susan

I wondered what happened to that light at the tunnel. Thought maybe I was just having an awful year.

I think I am the only one not to see that paperback on women on facebook. I think there should be one on men too. They really do need to come with a manual. Loved the dogs. The little guy would be just a snack. He's a brave little guy.

i love that 'ditto' one!

Sharon said...

Oh, what fun!!

OK, I absolutely LOVED that story about the sugar bowl! What a clever mom!

The DITTO lights were good - do you think I could do that about all the shopping and cooking and parties??

And, I am a HUGE Mary Margaret fan! Have you ever watched her video telling the Jonah story? Oh, if you haven't, it's well worth looking at. She is a preacher in the making, for sure!!

Thanks for my chuckle today. And I'm crunching along with you...(not the abs, the joints)

(By the way, I thought that book was about how to look younger when you're *50-something*???)

Hi Sandie! Loved the ditto on the house! LOL! That's kinda how I feel this year. Wish that would work for the inside as well, but I'll get things going on the decorating this weekend. After seeing all the beautiful Christmas decorations in Branson, I feel almost like I've had my Christmas. I really wish there were a few more days or weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Have a great weekend!
