Fun Friday with a little help from my friends . . .

IT'S FRIDAY - and if you LOVE Fridays you will love this song!

After being married for thirty years....a wife asked her husband to describe her.

He looked at her slowly...then said, "You're A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K."

She asked, "What does that mean?"

He said, "Adorable, Beautiful, Cute, Delightful, Elegant, Foxy, Gorgeous, Hot."

She smiled happily and said...."Oh, that's so lovely.....What about I, J, K?"

He said, "I'm Just Kidding!"

His eye is still swollen

Thank you Jerry

A Christmas Story for people having a bad day:

When four of Santa's elves got sick, the trainee elves did not produce toys as fast as the regular ones, and Santa began to feel the Pre-Christmas pressure.

Then Mrs Claus told Santa her Mother was coming to visit, which stressed Santa even more.

When he went to harness the reindeer, he found that three of them were about to give birth and two others had jumped the fence and were out, Heaven knows where.

Then when he began to load the sleigh, one of the floorboards cracked, the toy bag fell to the ground and all the toys were scattered.

Frustrated, Santa went in the house for a cup of apple cider and a shot of rum. When he went to the cupboard, he discovered the elves had drank all the cider and hidden the rum. In his frustration, he accidentally dropped the cider jug, and it broke into hundreds of little glass pieces all over the kitchen floor. He went to get the broom and found the mice had eaten all the straw off the end of the broom.

Just then the doorbell rang, and irritated Santa marched to the door, yanked it open, and there stood a little angel with a great big Christmas tree.

The angel said very cheerfully, 'Merry Christmas, Santa. Isn't this a lovely day? I have a beautiful tree for you. Where would you like me to stick it?'

And so began the tradition of the little angel on top of the Christmas tree..

Thanks Jerry and Ann.

I pointed to two old drunks sitting across the bar from us and told my friend,
"That's us in 10 years".
He said "That's a mirror, you nut!

Fun stuff! A friend of my sons is the mother of three, her youngest is a 4 year old daughter named Nola. She periodically posts "Nola-isms" which amuse those of us who know her.

A few weeks ago she settled the argument between her older siblings over who should have the last granola bar. It was hers, she said. The wrapper clearly said so: graNOLA.

Today her mom wrote that while reading a Christmas story to the kids, Nola pointed to the picture of Santa's helpers and asked "What are his helper called?" "Elves" was mom's reply. "Oh yeah, I keep wanting to call them Smurfs"

How can you not smile at Nola-isms?

Loved the card trick! Had to post the two drunks looking in the mirror on my Facebook. LOL Thought the cartoon at the top was a bit too close to truth for comfort.

The amazing Grace house lights is really cool! And I love the bar mirror joke!!! I just flat out don't believe the card trick. I don't think it was performed, i think it is a computer trick. Because it's impossible! A very cool post today, Sandie, I hope you have a great weekend!

Hi Sandie! I always love visiting here and especially on Fridays! I missed a couple of posts somehow and commented on one below. The card trick is mind-boggling! Wonder how he does that!! Loved the ABC joke, too funny. The first cartoon is funny/sad. IMO, it's a sad day for America when kids get reprimanded for saying Christmas. And it's like that in some schools, I hear.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Hugs, Cheryl

True confession time, Sandie. I have this love/hate thing with magic. I LOVE it because it fascinates me. I HATE it because I cannot figure it out.

That was an incredible trick - I stand amazed.

The only thing MORE amazing than that is the grace that was extended to a wretch like me!

LOVE those lights!!
