Thursday - Choi Kwang Do

(Just kidding - well I did tell you I was naughty!) lol

Okay Jill from Chillin with Jill passed this award to me. THANK YOU! I am grateful. It is always hard for me to pick others - but the only thing you had to do was accept it and pick 7 others. So I picked seven rather new or different blogs that I think you should check out.

Katie She is a young girl - 15 - but she is such a smart gal for her age - she is Melanie's daughter.

Eve - From Ireland - an artist and loyal friend.

Cheri an Atlanta blogger and good friend.

Changes In The Wind
- From the Wild West

Jerry - an unusual fellow follower.

Kerrie a new follower.

Charlene a funny knitter

Okay now you know grandson is in Choi Kwang Do. He is a first degree black belt.
He's starting on his path to second degree. He has his yellow stripe for second and he just took his test for gold stripe second degree and has 7 more colors to go though - a couple more years.

This man is the same ranking as GS and he has been there for him a real friend. Thanks Mr. S!

Going to begin his speed drill section.

This is the sparring part. On the right with glasses.

This is the all out shield attack.

Sparring with a partner near his size and rank.

Sparring again.

This is the pattern. Look how high the kick is!

This is his pattern again.

Congrats. It'll take another 2 years - slow but sure.

Good for him! Do his glasses ever bother him? I don't think I could run in my glasses - they'd drive me nuts.

We are headed to the library, but when we return I'll try to visit some of the blogs you listed.

I am so glad your grandson has this in his life. It must help on so very many levels.

Thank you so much for the award! I will work on passing this on later today, as well as visiting the other blogs. Maybe I should amend that to say within a few days...things are getting a bit hectic!
