wednesday- Hump Day

It is good to be a woman:

1. We got off the Titanic first.
2. No fashion faux pas we make could ever rival the Speedo.
3.. If we forget to shave, no one has to know.
4. We can congratulate our teammate without ever touching her rear end.
5. We never have to reach down every so often to make sure our privates are still there.
6. We have the ability to dress ourselves.
7. We can talk to the opposite sex without having to picture them naked.
8. If we marry someone 20 years younger, we are aware that we will look like an idiot.
9. There are times when chocolate really can solve all your problems.
10. We can make comments about how silly men are in their presence because they aren't listening anyway.

ANY OTHER IDEAS FOR WHY IT IS GOOD TO BE A WOMAN?

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY!

My reason it good to be a woman - you can be more comfortable in your own skin as you age.

Hi Sandie!

Thanks for the start-the-day-with-a-chuckle post! Yes, it IS good to be a woman, lumps, bumps, and all. ha ha ha

Hope your day today is splendid. My reading for the day was "sing a new song." Think I'll do that. Susan

Nice list. I personally like yours. I embrace my old age with pleasure and feel comfortable with it. Except for all the health problems, of course. Take care.

Hi Sandie, you know I don't like to have my picture published!! Ha! I loved those reasons why it's good to be a woman. I especially laughed at #5! How many times do you see a man scratching, adjusting or doing
something "down there"! LOL! Thanks for the chuckles today!

Funny...

I have been fighting it to the bitter end, and now I'm noticing that my husband (the utmost workout king) has a stomach and love handles.

He told me that we need to start eating right, which is the truth... but we do laugh at ourselves.

I came to your page so I could laugh. I cried last night and I've laughed and sort of danced with my dogs today.

Thank you for your kind comment. Aunt Doris will be fine. I choose to believe that.

Love you,
Joey

These are great! My favorite is #8.

I wonder if we would get off the Titanic first these days? Hmmm...

I hope the school interview went well! I didn't think I had missed a chatty post, but I see that I did. I better go make sure there isn't an update.

Not so sure about the woman stuff in the post. Not being a female Bear, I'll leave well enough alone.

But the bit about lemons is right on. When life serves you lemons, you can
• make lemonade,
• start a lemon orchard,
• ask for tequila and salt,
• create a new sore throat medication.
The options are truly almost unlimited.

Thanks for the laugh. I need to come earlier in the day and get cheered up. Some days need a pick me up. Have a great night.

Those are pretty much true, Sandie. LOL :)

I did see a lady basketball player on TV pat another lady (college team) on her rear this weekend. It was after a really good play.
