Thursday - You have to see this to believe it!

YOU HAVE GOT TO SEE THIS TO BELIEVE IT!

(From Angela at West Virginia Treasures - what a difference time makes.)

About the hubby:

We all went yesterday to the doctor and Rick was nervous ( more about all of us being there - lol) – but the hematomas have gone down and there is no new blood.

He can go 4 weeks this time and then another CT scan and doctor’s visit.

The doctor said to go ahead to Emory and have a second opinion on the 6th and I liked that.

Rick getting this was extremely unusual – as his brain is good and young (lol - which surprised me) and he was not injured.  So the doctor knows no reason why this happened – it is usually in 80 year old people.  There are no tumors – no tears – nothing.

But the hematomas are going in the right direction.

Can it happen again – maybe, maybe not – so there are no answers really.

But it is good news.  He can drive. He can lift up to about 25 pounds. The doctor said it could take months to go away - ????  Y

You are all so  kind, and I thank you so much for all your prayers and concerns.

Now I thought this was a great and positive thought for the day.

Some things I'd like to ask of you:

1.  Remember to turn off your word verification. It is so hard to read!!!

2.  Please send me an email if you have a blog button and I haven't put it on my blog. I might have missed one or two.

3.  Please send me your email address if  I don't have one for you - I'd like to reply to your comments.

THANK YOU!

Oh that is such great news that there is no new blood. It sure is a mystery why it happened, but a definite blessing that it is gone.
Go celebrate!

Overjoyed that your hubby is getting better with no intervention. Sending positive thoughts for a full recovery and no re-occurrence! xoxo

That's such wonderful news! I'm so glad he's getting better. Prayers answered.

And that word verification thing makes me crazy, too. I have one blog friend who insists she needs it or she gets spammed. I noticed she allows anonymous comments and that's what causes the spam. I turned off allowing anonymous comments (because I never got legit ones anyway) and I never get spam comments now.

Wonderful news about Rick! I know you are happy he is healing and I know he is happy he can drive again. My Mom is just waiting for that when we go back to her Dr in June! Big hugs, Linda

Hi Sandie, glad to hear the good news! Driving is important for hubby, you can do the lifting.

I think you have my info. E-mail is is on the blog, side bar.

This morning I turned WORD VERIFICATION OFF and within ten minutes had TWO SPAM messages.

Those two were on older posts so I didn't have to remove them. They were waiting for comment moderation and of course I shunted them off to the trash barrel.

yay for both of you! it could have been worse you know, you could have had 4 legs AND 2 girly parts so you could have had 2 periods a month! glad everything is going well. have a great rest of the week!

Praise the Lord that Rick is mending and on a good path! So relieved for you both. I cannot imagine the stress this has brought.
I still need to sit down and play with the settings on mine again, I can't seem to get the word verification off, my settings show it as being off already. And blogger never replies to my emails which is convenient as well. :P

I am so very glad that he is healing, still good to get that other opinion...when is the Emory appt.??

This is wonderful news about your husband. The fact the hematomas have gone down and there is no sign of new blood, is a blessing, indeed. However, I think you are wise to go to Emory and get a second opinion. You are still in my prayers. That was an interesting story about the lady with 4 legs. My friends great grandma had legs that stopped at the knees. that also was in the 1800's. She married and raised a family and did what she had to do. We were a tougher lot back then, than today. take care.

Hi Sandie....The news about Rick was the best news EVER. Praise the Lord! Hope everything gets back to 100 percent normal once again. We cannot understand or begin to comprehend why certain things happen they way they do, but they definitely happen for a reason.

Sandie, that story about the lady with the four legs? If two belonged to her sister and the lady had two girly parts, where was the sister's HEAD? What happened to HER now that she had no legs and girly part. I didn't get it. Maybe I"m thick or something but I didn't understand, did you? Susan

That is fantastic news. I bet he's on cloud 9 right now and I'm sure he's happy about being able to drive again. Puzzling though how he got it in the first place

I don't know if you have my email address it is grandmayellowhair@gmail.com.
I will be posting a give away soon so hope you can come by and enter.

I've been thinking of your husband, wondering how everything was. I'm glad all seems well.

Human bodies can act up, at any age. Just have to enjoy good health when you have it-and deal with it when something goes wrong.

And I'm thrilled with the news about your husband! I'm just so glad that it went in the direction it did. I'm so glad I get to be a praise partner because I was a prayer warrior!
