Tuesdays Tails

Thank you - Jerry At As The cracker Crumbles

I am going to make this so simple and so fun today.  These elephants look like they are having a great time.  I need some fun in my life - I still have everyone's prayers with me - but as far as I know - there is no place in the Bible that says that happiness and fun is a sin.  In fact I think the opposite.

So for today - as I watch this again - I'm going to be an elephant - I'm going to just jump right in there with them!  I don't care if I get dirty or wet (it's raining here anyway). I don't care what I look like, my hair or my make-up.  I'm just diving in and I hope you come with me!

Can you feel that wet dirty slime?  Lol.

Geronimo!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY!

Love, Chatty and thanks for everything.

C'mon - hang onto my hand and I'll jump right in there with you! I'll bet that mud will give us glowing, dewy complexions!

no no...being happy and having fun is not a sin for sure. I think it is quite the opposite to be fearful and discouraged is the sin. The good Lord wants us to enjoy all that He created and found good. Being happy in life and appreciating all the blessing we have is a very good thing. Hope your Tuesday is a terrific one!

I'm for it. Reminds me of when I was a kid in the country and we pretended a mud puddle was our swimming pool.

Good for you! I think there are times in our lives where we have to say 'the heck with everything' and just do something fun and crazy that makes us life and feel alive again! Many smiles and hugs to you!

Yes, we can miss a lot of fun because we don't want to get messy. I wanted Ella to help me make biscuits yesterday but she didn't want to get her hands messy. She will just LOVE these elephants, especially where the mom helps her baby get out at the end.

Such fun! We will jump right in with you!

i hope you waited until they were done and gone, i would not want one of those magnificent creatures to stand or step on me.

Sandie, I think this is the perfect philosophy and they say mud baths are good for the skin anyway. Thing is, you are going to have to go in anyway, so why not go in by choice and make the best of it all! Thinking of you... Ann

I was extremely fascinated by how they helped the baby out of the hole at the end. That was amazing. I used to go down to mudflows at Lake Michigan (as a pre-teen) and play in the mud! Loved it! Still LOVE LOVE working with clay because of that!
Hope you are well, CC.

Still praying up here in NY.

Love the pic of the little girls! And no, fun certainly isn't a sin. A little levity in a not so nice situation can go a long way. Sometimes it's what keeps US sane! :)

do one fun thing, every. single. day.

you'll never regret it!!

Sherry enjoyed it but did not want to join them!!! They love the mud, now that should show the folks that think a mud pack erases wrinkles, a few things..!!!!

Good post!!

I wasn't sure if the little one enjoyed being in there or not, but I think it would be fun to sling some mud and water around like that! I think it is neat that you can find happiness and fun and you are choosing to find it, Sandie, with what is going on in your lives right now. I think that is what God would want you to do; trust in him and live the best you can and laugh when you can.

I am a Bear, and a fairly large one. But I don't play with elephants. I could get hurt in there!

Sandie, thanks for a big smile. I'd love to be rolling in the mud, too. I might settle for a spa mud bath. Wouldn't that be fun!

All I could do was worry about that baby. I feared it would get trampled and then I feared it would not be able to get out. Oh how I loved the help that came from the others. That baby was constantly cared for by the whole tribe. Shows we should not fear a circle of love. There is one around you now too Sandie:)

What a wonderful video! It makes me want to be a kid again and play in the mud! :)

As for fun and happiness--I believe they are indeed great blessings. I know laughter has healed me in so many ways. I do my best to pass it on to others because I believe so strongly in the positive, healing power of joy and laughter.

Whatever troubles you've been having in your life, I wish you peace, healing, and, of course, fun and happiness! :)
