Sundays gift to you.

If I could give you one gift this would be it.  This is Jessica being positive!  She is so little yet she is affirming herself - where did she get this?  Probably her parents.  Wish I had had some more like that - oh wait a minute - I DO - my Heavenly Father does this for me!!!  Dah Chatty you must remember that!!  God loves us all and wants us to feel loved. I think that's the hardest thing for me to learn or feel at times because of my childhood.  I'm looking for love at times and all I have to do - is spent time with the Lord.  Jesus loves me this I know for the Bible tells me so...............

Oh Chatty, I grew up in a very unhappy household, typically anyway. Maybe there'd be a fun/upbeat day in there once in a while; but for the most part, it was either miserable, or very pessimistic. Today, I still feel like that way of thinking is absolutely TATTOOED into my very soul!.. But I fight it any way that I know how, and I like to think, or hope, that I'm winning that fight, to any degree at least! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this video, and I'm SURE I should do what Jessica's doing here, like an exercise, at least once a week, or even every day... right?! I feel blessed already for even seeing this video, so thanks for sharing it! ((Hugs)) and have a great day! ~tina

YES, we need to look to no one but the lord and he will comfort us and give us strength. My childhood was anything but positive but one thing good did come from it; We were taught about the Lord. For that I am truly thankful.

Thank you for this post. The video was very inspiring.

I hope you have a great day. Many of us have things from our childhood that we don't want to remember.

I first saw that video a couple of years ago. It's still awesome! Wouldn't it be great if we all felt that way about ourselves? :)

I just love that little girl. I am so sorry you did not have a carefree childhood, my friend. Always remember how loved you are...by HIM and so many of us.

That is so sweet with that little one!! I can do anything; what a great attitude and I like; maybe we need to do that every morning Sandie; stand in front of the mirror and say words of affirmation and words of thanks to God. I might have to try that. I do love that whole chapter of Romans where that quote came!

enjoy the day!

what confidence that girl exudes! Wonder what she will go on to be as she grows up.
Chatty, I think a lot of us had negative and unloving childhoods. Good thing we have the real Father
God in our lives.

I'm here late so I'll just say hope your Sunday was super. We only had nine in church including John and me and the minister and his wife. God was there and it was a blessed service as always.

Hi Sandie,
Great food for thoughts!!
Positive thoughts and a positive attitude are real winners when one put them into practice.
Yes!! If you are looking for love, talk to the Lord, He is always there to listen. The Lord is the lover of your soul, Sandie.
Jesus loves you, so do I!!
Have a blessed week, my friend!!
My grandson is 12 years old, and also a black belt, but in Karate Do. It's always good to renew one's bedroom every now and then, so that we may feel creative somehow. I always change things around the house, paint a new wall with my dear family photos all over the doors and walls. The walls of our apartment look like a Family Album and an Ancestry Book.
One day, my hubby's son came in and took a tour round the place. He almost fainted when he saw the walls, and how I changed them to make them look brighter to my own poetic artistic mind.
Thank you for writing your heartfelt comments in my blogs!!
God may bless you all, dear friend, Sandie!!
Blessings,
Poet Starry.

Sandie, what a WONDERFUL take on this video!! I had seen it before and love it, but I really loved the way you tied it in to parental confidence and that we all have a perfect Father who stands in our corner cheering us on.

Just wonderful!!

Jessica had me a little nervous though...her mom needs to hang a mirror on her bedroom door so she does her affirmations while standing on the ground. :)
