Tuesday's Tails/Tales

Thank you Jenn at Jenn's Three Graces

I won a couple of really nice things from Linda at A La Carte - one of my blogger friends that turned into being a real flesh and blood friend.  Cheri from Chez Cheri, Linda, and I met for lunch last week - for our monthly 'talk' session and Linda brought me these surprises.  She was going to the longest garage sale and asked me what I wanted.  I wanted an aqua mason jar and she found one!

Isn't that pretty?  I had one and now I have my set.

Recipe cards from one of my favorite authors - Mary Kay Andrews.

A cute little piece of corning wear and I love it - I have nothing this size.

I am a busy women too - so this is perfect.

A little box with an angel to put with my angel collection.

And last but not least a birthday girl - for February - and I will be 60 this next birthday. Phew.

Linda thank you for such wonderful gifts - you know me well.  And Cheri and Linda lunch was fun.

Thought of the day:

Treat everyone with politeness, even those who are rude to you - not because they are nice, but because you are.” Unknown

Love, Chatty

WOW good stuff. Nice!
I love the quotes. One of my favorite things in life is reading intelligent and great quotes. I think that is why Proverbs is my favorite book. you can read it forward and backwards, and it makes sense.(If that makes any sense LOL) I smile at the smart elleck statement:
If we are here to help others, then what exactly rt eh others here for? LOL

How fun to actually get to know your blogger friends in person. Nice surprises all, but I especially like the cookbook and the corning ware.

All your quotes are good and the last one is one to always practice. Hard sometimes. Why, just this morning ... ;-)

What delightful surprises from your friend.
I would absolutely love to go to that World's longest garage sale but I'm afraid my purse would be empty and then some by the time I got home.
Love that little corning ware dish design.
Perfect quote to end the post. I need to remember that.

That's a nice haul! Good for you!! I love that last quote. I would only add that we never know what a stranger has been trough before we come into contact with them. So be nice to every one...they may have just lost a parent, a job or their dog. And if they are rude just because...too bad for them.

Hi Sandie! Thanks for your visits and comments.

If you want a cd of music from the Andes, I think you can order it online.

Check out the link I mentioned in my post.

Or just Google it. I'm sure you'll find TONS of cds that have music of the Andes. Susan
