Some Ideas for Saturday

Now my personal favorite is the disk holder for the bagel - who thinks of these things?

Remember your fiber – very important in your diet!

These were fun ideas! I like the pancake mix idea!!
hugs, Linda

Wouldn't you make one heck of a mess getting that pancake mix into the ketchup bottle? I know I would for sure.

Unknown said...

I am sorry, but anyone who needs to keep their fingers from getting messy while dunking Oreos is way too highfalutin!

Neat suggestions! How about that green turn arrow?? What IS a person to do?? A major problem!!

Have a good Sat.

The rest was a combination of informative and fun.

Yes, I agree, all great ideas...who indeed things of all these thing? And we all really do need to be a little kinder to our selves. Hope your Saturday is a super one!

LOL.

The ideas are very clever, and I wonder what rocket scientist came up with that traffic signal???

Love to you this fine fall morning.

I am on this infernal IPAD I borrowed from the mister, and I can't see a thing. It's like typing blind.

I wish I had your email address so I could email you from my other address. I miss you. I'm afraid to open my other ever since months ago someone sent me a virus. They tried to act like they were sending it to me from Blogger. They had attached a link. I think they were trying to hijack my blog. I have gotten the weirdest things over the years, and so has Pat. Anyhow, I can't recall if I clicked it or not, but it was something about magpies. At any rate, it scared me.

Miss you...

XO,

Sheila

You always come up with the best ideas.... I am definitely doing the pancake one and I also like the muffin tin. LJ

I was just sure I invented the grapes-in-wine one. And oh the grapes are delicious after soaking in the wine.

Looks like the left-turn confusion would create a traffic jam:)

Love the cookbook holder and the bagel thing is genius!

You come up with some dillies!~ I love this entry. Sherry and I are looking at this and smiling, why didn't I think of that?

Then I love the quote:
Don't believe everything you think!

You have to think about that one for awhile before you realize how important it is to follow that simple rule.. THAT IN ITSELF was worth a stop today. However I loved the book holder, bagel carrier and ALL the rest. YOu done well!!!

LOL! Don't believe everything you think! That is the best advice I've heard in about one hundred years. Love those tips but I can't see going to the trouble for the sandwich. And I think it would be messy getting the pancake batter into the ketchup bottle. But that's just me and I'm pretty messy to begin with.

Love it! Definitely don't believe everything you think!!! Many blessings!

Love the frozen grapes in the wine!!

I'd seen some of these before, but many of them were new ... they're ALL neat ideas and I think I'm going to bookmark this post for future reference. ;-)

I like that tip about the hot pizza seat. Guess you'd need a newspaper under the pizza so the grease doesn't soak in the seat.

And the cookbook holder..wow. love it.

Awesome ideas. :)

Linda O'Connell said...

No! I could never eat an Oreo with a fork, half the fun is dunking my fingertips :) I think I'll try the pancake batter in a bottle one.

Hootin Anni said...

I haven't had a 'thought' in so long, it'd scare the living daylights out of me if it came about.

Love the idea of the bagel tote. I do like my bagels and cream cheese. As for the cookbook....wait!!! What the heck is a cookbook?!!!!!!!!!!!

Loved the cd spindle too! I get through a few of those.

I'm definitely going to try the frozen grapes! :D

I cannot believe how good you are on the computer. I don't write often. Jack wants me to write more. I don't have as much excitement in my life as Jack. I do have a lot going but would not be as interesting as Jack.
After my husband passed with cancer Jack was determined for me to have a computer. He helped me get through my hard time. We had
a wonder family which helps us face
life with it uncertanties of life
I have a wonderful Brother and so
is Sherry. They are my life line.
Thanks for stopping by.

I don't know where you get all your wonderful ideas from. Some people are so creative. Love to you. xx

Hello Sweetie...
Oh what a beautiful share. I don't know how many of those darn CD holders I have tossed, and what wonderful bagel holders they would make indeed. I am going to ask them at work to save them for me as well.

Love the idea of using the muffin tin for condiments. That really would save. The grands can be messy sometimes, and I think it might be easier for them as well to use.

Love the cookbook idea as well. I hadn't thought of a holder like that. Definitely more sturdy.

Girl, where do you come up with these things? I have missed you. I am trying to get back into blogging. With work it has just taken it right out of me. Slowly coming around again.

Many hugs and much love, Sherry

Lots of neat ideas to make life a little easier. My favourtie; the cookbook holder!

forgetmenot said...

Some of those ideas are really good. The pancake mix in a ketchup bottle would be really handy. The frozen grapes are a good idea too. Do you know how good frozen grapes are to eat--they really are a treat. Thanks for all the fun ideas. Have a great week. Mickie :)

Jim said...

Loved your Saturday's Hints, Sandie. They are all great for me except the bagel (I don't eat them as they aren't in my food plan) and the Oreo Cookie holder idea (I eat the centers out before I dunk).

The pizza warmer idea is also a good one although it makes the car hot. Not a good idea for summer day driving. We have a seat warmer and I'd rather use that (but I hadn't thought of that until I read yours).

Thanks for you tip on Moses. I always like reading about all of his adventures. And about the people he was dealing with and how they always were 'grumbling'. :)

Oh Chatty I have missed you so. How have I survived the past couple weeks without your help? I love the pancake mix in the ketchup bottle. Breakfast could have been soooo much more creative if I had thought of that.

Susan J. Reinhardt said...

Great tips! But the oreo one: getting messy is part of the fun.

SquirrelQueen said...

Oh my gosh, I love the Thought for the Day. The sandwich idea is cute and it does cover those corners.

I can see where the turn signal and the sign together could cause all sorts of traffic problems. Confused me.

Debbie said...

I'm sitting here with my cup of coffee and uninterrupted time to visit blogs this morning. I don't quite know what to do with the time!

I love those ideas, and I really like the cookbook holder one!

Now, I'm going to click to hear the M and P's!

Good morning, Sandie. It's sooooo nice to be here!

Love all of these clever ideas. Thanks for sharing them!

I am going to do the sandwich meat placement for Frank...he is so picky how I make his sandwich. I think he will like one made this way. I think the fork with the Oreo cookie would spoil the fun of eating it. All are good tips...like you said..who thinks up these things? Glad they did and glad you find them and share them.
