Thanksgiving Week is here . . .

Thanksgiving week is here!  Thursday is the BIG day.  As I have been reading my friends posts there seems to be a lot of thanksgiving going on each and every day.  I think we're beginning to see we don't have to wait until Thanksgiving day to be thankful and grateful.  It's my humble opinion that we can choose to be grateful for some thing - some person - some gift - each and every day we live.  I also believe that as we increase our gratefulness - our happiness increases proportionally!

YES, THANKSGIVING!
I have noticed more folk being thankful than being hungry for the big meal. That is good. We will be in Florida for the big day, I am THANKFUL for that.

That is so true. A fellow blogger has a notebook and EVERY NIGHT she writes down things she was thankful for during her day. I hope you have a wonderful day planned for Thursday.

This is a great reminder. You are so right that thinking of all we have to be thankful for makes us happy.

I am having a houseful of people over for the holiday so I won't be on Blogger much this week. Just wanted to check in and wish you a wonderful Thanksgiving. Enjoy every moment!

Excellent idea.... To increase our thankfulness.

Because I think that goes hand-in-hand with noticing the lovely things, which we have to be thankful for.

In other words... with Mindfullness.

Thanksgiving week and we are preparing for it! Amber thought we would be going back home for Thanksgiving but the traffic is SO bad!! (We came down here one year and it was bumper to bumper!!!) So we are staying here. Amber's dad (my ex)and his wife are also joining us. A Table of 6...both sets of Amber's parents plus amber and Mike. First time we have all seen each other at the same time since the wedding. This is Jesse's first time to see the babies! It sounds kinds funny but I have prayed about it and have perfect peace that all will go well. Amber's happy - and that's very important!! ***Now how do I word this in my blog???
STILL and ALL ----SO much to be thankful for~~

Sandie! hi! awh, this is so nice to read a peaceful post of glad wishes and happy gratitude. As we pray each day we show gratitude for our blessings. gratitude is parallel to God. If we acknowledge His had in each daily event, then that makes us a very grateful people. that is so cool!!!

I'm posting on Wednesday and not again til next Monday. Have a fab holiday if i miss you, k?

love to you, Renae

Happy Thanksgiving, friend~

and you are right, it shouldn't take one day to bring out people's thoughts of gratefulness. It should be an attitude we wear daily.

While I love Thanksgiving, we certainly don't need a special day (or even a month) to be thankful. We should live with an attitude of gratitude each and every single day. ;-)
