Tuesday's Tails on Wednesday

This is a picture of me and my boy - all ready for Christmas.

Last week's post went very well grandma said and I was all already to post yesterday, but when grandma talked to me she asked me to wait a day in respect of those sweet victims in Connecticut.  So I said, "No problem gram."   A day of silence is a sign of respect and prayer.

Now as I was looking at Pinterest with her - I saw this cute reindeer and asked her if I could show you this picture.  I think this is so cute.  My hair is too short, but I think it is cute.  Don't you?

A little story about my past:

A long time blog friend just wrote grandma a note the other day - it was Monica at Chicken Wrangler - do you know her?    She told grandma that she remembered how when they got me - they were going to tell my boy they were watching me for half a year for a friend. (Kind of a dumb plan don't yah think?)

My grandma had tried 3 pugs and they had to be given to friends due to her severe allergies. My family decided to give me a try, but if it didn't work out - they thought they had an escape clause.  If they had to give me up, my boy might might not hurt as much, thinking I belonged to someone else.  That was in July of 2010.

If it worked out for 6 months then at Christmas time they would tell him the truth.  She was a little on the dumb side though - thinking my boy wouldn't fall in love with me at first site and me with him!!!

He wasn't going to give me up that easy or me him.  Thankfully grams is not allergic to me - my hair is totally different than a pugs.

Now the only trouble ahem I gave them was when I was brand new there  I did a little submissive peeing because I had been abused and I was scared.  They were patient with me and I am all better!  I know they all love me and I am not afraid anymore.

This is my favorite video because well, I'm a dog and I love stuff like this.

These are some of my other dog friends singing for you:

My boy - who had his flu shot - got the flu type B - and has been sick all weekend and now.  He has his finals this week too.  So we have been running late reading and writing back - but grams said not to worry - we will catch up.  You know how she is.

Hey Disco! Melody sends a shy gentle nose lick to you.

I understand itchies after petting certain dogs. The fur is prickly but CATS make my nose run and run...

Oh, Disco, what a cutie you are! I think you are the perfect fit for your humans~

Disco you are one fortunate pup to have a family that loves you so much! I had the flu shot too and got some kind of virus that's been trying to get me down, but I'm too busy right now to stop for anything, so it will have to wait till after Christmas Hope your boy is feeling better soon! Tell everyone at your house to have a wonderful Wednesday!

Yes Disco I remember 'the plan' and I didn't think it would work either so I prayed real hard that Gram wouldn't be allergic to you and guess what....she isn't! Take care of your boy! and stay away from chocolate!

hugs, Linda

Sorry to hear that your boy is sick! :( Cuddle up next to him, I know that will help.

And remember, Marty says to STAY AWAY from the chocolate (and...ahem...the coffee grounds!!)

Hi Sandie....Soooo cute. Loved the videos, too. Thanks for sharing. You always have the best things.

You should go back to where GS had the flu shot and demand your money back.

Your grandma is a very smart woman and tells very good lies to little boys. All for a good cause.

Hope the boy is feeling better!! Several kids I know also have gotten the flu! That is the neatest way to fix your hair! I wish my hair was also long enough to do that too!! It would make all the kids in line behind you laugh :-}}

Like that cute hair-do.

Well, I'm certainly glad your grams wasn't allergic so you got to stay around, Disco.

I hope the little guy is feeling better soon and gets a chance to finish his finals.

And I love that hair style!

Disco, you must tell your gram that we, her and your fans, really want her to model the reindeer bun. I don't want to hear any nonsense such as her hair is too short, etc. This is why we have extensions.

I love the story about your start with your family and I have to say, I did not see that coming on that first video!!! I know certain humans who will think that is funny too. Ann TBL

I wish for you a very blessed happy Christmas.

I am having physiotherapy because I have tendonitis in my right shoulder. I can hardly write, either with pen or computer. To get dressed, drive, or comb is hell. At school I have to write on the black board under terrible pain in the shoulder and arm. So I have been away from the blogosphere, my friend. I have seen your comments which I am very grateful and I appreciate.
God bless You dear

Your boy might be the third person I've heard of getting the flu even after they got the flu shot to keep from getting it. I hope he feels better soon!

I'm so glad that they rescued you Disco and you are now in a loving home and well taken care of!

Merry Christmas!
