You are right. Happy we should all be. I saw the video I think the fox is taken from. Loved it when he dove head first after his prey!

I've never seen a squirrel quite that upside down, but I have seen them burrow pretty deep in the snow to dig out a walnut or acorn.

You are so very right -- there really are a lot of things that make me happy. Almost every time I turn around there is something else. Hope you have a great Thursday!

Is that a squirrel upside down in the snow? Must've hidden his treasure in there. Yikes! Nature makes me happy. Oh, and photographing it. When I was in my 40s I decided that I wanted a career with National Geographic. Why'd I have to figure that out so late? Oh well!

Oh yes, Sandie, beautiful photography makes me happy.

Also, fresh flowers, beautiful music, happy children, taking care of my darling little new granddaughter, thrift store shopping and out to lunch with friends, gatherings with family members, a kiss from my love, and every single new day of life!

Thanks for your post. Susan

Being in nature makes me happy. It gives me the gift of peace. And, yes, the vet recommended three smaller meals a day for Samson. This will help rest his pancreas and may help prevent bloat.

It's funny that you said that about wanting to do that when you grew up. Me too! I wanted to be a National Geographic Explorer. Or work with Jane Goodall. I love photographs, they really are worth a thousand words. Ann

YES, these photos are lovely and so real, totally captured in a moment to keep forever. You still have time to be a photographer..
Keep the camera close for those special moments, just like you do. xxx
Photography is a truly amazing thing. You probably remember the old Brownie box camera. Snaps were taken and then you had to wait on the developing. After that, many weren't worth keeping. Now there are no disappointments.. We get to see them straight away.

National Geographic has some of the best wildlife photos doesn't it? Oh to be at the right place at the right time with your camera. This evening 10 deer ran down the street right in front of my living room window. Where was my camera? Oh yea, way down in the computer room. Rats.

The only thing better than looking at beautiful photography, is taking it. I'm not there yet, but I love working on it.

So many beautiful things made by God to make us happy.

Jackie said...

Oh my goodness I love all of the beauty God created. Wow, I couldn't even begin to list them!

The weather turned sour on me and we are rainy and cold again. So my camera vacation is over.

Thanks so much for stopping in even when I was away taking a break. And, thank you very much for the link to Mad Snapper.

I love her blog!

Squirrels crack me up.

My mom used to say you'd better not stay that way or you might freeze that way (like don't wear holey underwear to town in case you get into a wreck).

I hope that fox doesn't stay like too long or he might freeze that way.

Fantastic pics! It always amazes me how some people are able to get such awesome pictures! I love good art of all different kinds... dance, sewing, painting, music. God gave so many people such great gifts! One of yours is to help others smile! I pray He blesses you the way you bless others!

Catching up with you this evening as the winds blow and blow and blowwww. I hope the Atlanta weather isn't moving in around here.

I loved that photo. What makes me happy is more the taking of photos than the looking at them. Not that I'm any kind of a photographer, but I love to capture stuff.
