Spring is Coming!!!

I have a blog friend Named Starry.  And she sent me some poems she wrote and I thought I would share one with you. You can check out her blog called Thanks for the Gift of Life.

I like this one the best because "Flowers are the poetry of earth". Unknown

and "Nature is the art of God."  Dante

I think that seeing things like this - just makes you happy.  I love to see God's handiwork - whether in flowers, nature, or wildlife.  I think that he how he takes care of us in many ways, and this is one way.

I am going to go on vacation this week from blogging and I will be back next week. With  a new look and new ideas and maybe a new name.  I am doing a lot of thinking this week.

In the meantime think on the good things He gave us - I'll be doing that too.  Any ways you care to share about how He shows His love to us?  For example I just thought of colors - don't colors make life wonderful???

Sandie

Have a nice break and can't wait to see your new look! And a new name?

That last quote about choices is one I wish my oldest would read and take to heart.

We were talking just last week as we enjoyed the Arboretum about the uniqueness and the thought and detail God put into each and every flower and plant. So exquisite.

Thank you sooo much for those inspiring words from Audrey Hepburn. She is one of my very favorite actresses!

I think nature has a way of saying it's beautiful poetry in most any season. I can see natures poetry in the many arts that people produce too....like quilting, spinning, needleworks and paintwork. I can imagine those beautiful flowers you pictured...translated into art!

We will miss you...but, be here waiting for you when you get back! I'm excited for your surprises. =)

One of the wonderful ways that God shows me His love is through the love of other people. And, of course, through one particular little beagle...

Miss you this week - but will eagerly await the new things you'll be bringing back to Blog Land!

Have a wonderful week! You know, as I was reading this, I realized that what I never do is take a preplanned, intentional blog break. I always just sort of get too busy or distracted and disappear. Then, I spend the whole time stressing over the fact that I'm not "blogging like I'm supposed to be."

If I would just plan and announce a break and use that time to intentionally REGROUP, I would come back rested and ready.

I like that you do that.

But... a new name? OK, but a rose by any other name will smell as sweet.

You're taking a break??? I was looking for your weekly Friday post.

There's beauty in some simple things. One thing that fascinates me is the beauty and detail in some of the spider webs I sometimes see in our yard. They'll go from branch to branch...huge ones. Of course, I don't find much beauty in the spider, but without him there wouldn't be the pretty webs. We take some of these things for granted, but they're actually pretty amazing. Thanks God!
