NuNaturals

Okay the winner of the jar of Coconut Oil is  Renae at Simple Sequins.  Please send me your full name and address and I'll give it to Tropical Traditions and they'll send it to you directly.
Thanks everyone for playing!

Now for NuNaturals.  This company was more then generous.  Look what all they sent for me to try!  I was so happy about this for so many reasons.  It's natural and I believe personally - it's good great for you.

I don't share much with anyone is my health - I am a diabetic. I found out a couple years ago I guess. The first year I was in denial.  I'm more serious about it now - but let me tell you - for me - it's not easy.

My blood sugar is up one day and down the next - I don't know what I did that was so different?  I feel personally guilty about being a diabetic.  My grandmother was a diabetic and her siblings, my dad was and his siblings, my brother had it, and now I have it.  It's genetic, but I still feel down on myself.  I mean if I would just eat perfectly and lose weight I would probably be okay - but for some reason I'm having a hard time with doing that - for many reasons.

This was my 20 seconds of courage telling you all this.

So this product is THE PRODUCT for me. AND NO YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A DIABETIC TO USE THIS PRODUCT - in fact it may help your prevent or prolong you getting it - because it is not sugar - it is a great sugar alternative.  Now this is my claim - not theirs.  I got paid nothing and these opinions are definitely mine!

Look at all the goodies they sent me.

I was blown away - it took me weeks to try everything.

I have four gift packages for you to win here!   Plus there is a discount code for you if you don't win, but want to get it anyway - you can get a 15% discount - until June 30th - for all products.

The four winners will be announced on MAY 2!!!!!!!!!!!

NuNaturals will ship directly to the winners and it is opened WORLDWIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here are the rules - you have to -

Check out NuNaturals on Twitter @NuNaturals
Like on Facebook NuNaturals   https://www.facebook.com/NuNaturals

2,  And for a second chance - leave me a recipe idea - what would you use NuNaturals for?

When you get to their checkout page you should enter the DISCOUNT CODE ;  BLG0613  and you will receive - 15% DISCOUNT on your ENTIRE ORDER.

This discount remains  EFFECTIVE UNTIL  JUNE 30, 2013 .

Online ordering customers may also receive FREE SHIPPING to the CONTINENTAL U. S. on all orders exceeding  $ 35.00 after discounts.

They sent me a recipe package and boy did I have fun with it.  And let me say you can use it to make anything.

I made banana bread - chocolate mousse -lemon cake - I do like sweet.  I also made sugar free candied nuts - one of my favorites.  Did you know you can make chocolate butter?  I made the orange/lemon vinaigrette which was totally awesome.

Now when you go out and want to save money on drinks - add the flavors to the water.  Or in ice tea.  Hot tea.  There are so many things you can do I can't even list them all.

Now I made this cheese cake -

And guess what I made cherries with?  You guessed it.  NuNaturals.

The crust -
1 1/2 cups graham crackers -

3 Tbsp. Nunaturals (Tagatose)

1/cup  butter or margarine
The filling -

4 pkg.  (8 oz. each) softened cream cheese

1 cup  NuNaturals (Tagatose)

1 tsp.  vanilla

4 eggs

How to make-
HEAT oven to 325°F.
MIX graham crumbs, 3 Tbsp. NuNaturals and butter; press onto bottom of 9-inch pan.
BEAT cream cheese, 1 cup NuNaturals and vanilla with mixer until well blended. Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing on low speed after each just until blended.
Pour over crust.
BAKE 55 min. or until center is almost set.
Let cool.
Refrigerate 4 hours.

And it was great!  Do you know how many carbs I cut out of that recipe?  And the really big news is this - my daughter and my grandson ate it - and they never eat when I make healthy!!!

Now I like to make things easy and quick.  All I had to do is buy a can of cherries (without sweetener) and add NuNaturals. Or you can slowly cook strawberries with a touch of water and NuNaturals.  Easy Peasy.

Another friend blogger uses this My Journey With Candida and she has a recipe too.  Check it out here.

I have to be honest with you - this stuff is awesome!

This is my last giveaway - but after this on Thursdays I think I will deal with health issues - so if any of you have any information please forward that to me!

NOw that looks like a great product. I love your cheesecake idea. I have a lowfat cake recipe, and I would love to try it in that.

As both my mother-in-law and brother-in-law are diabetic I know how difficult the condition can be to control. Initially we were more worried about my m-i-l as we thought her being older and more set in her ways she would find it more difficult but it is her son, my b-i-l who really finds it hard to accept and wanting to be like his friends finds it hard to stick to healthy eating etc.

Don't get down on yourself over having diabetes. It happens... even to very good people like my father.

You didn't choose it, but you can choose to fight it every day.

I love NuNaturals. In fact, right now I'm drinking iced tea sweetened with their lemon liquid stevia. Yum!

I use new naturals all the time. I make a mean sweet and sour chicken with the lemon flavor. I am not entering the contest though as I already review their product and use it often.

I liked NuNaturals on Facebook and I am a follower maybe even a stalker :)

I would probably try a lemon cheesecake, however I recently made some Mint Choc Chip cookies and using these products I could make a low carb variety!

My sugar levels are like yours except seasonally, not daily. I am good in spring and summer but really bad in Winter. So so in fall.

Neat entry, I always enjoy the read here.
The pug on front paws reminds me of my buddie's dog when I was a kid. It got hit by a car and hurt it's back legs. small casts were installed. Immediately the dog started walking like the one in the picture. Once the casts were off we could not get him to walk like that again.
Animals have a built in instinct to survive.

((LOVE)) and ((HUGS)) from here.
Thanks for jogging that memory!

Sandie!!! That cheescake looks amazing. And... you know I LOVE NuNaturals. It is the only stevia I use and my Hubs uses the tagatose.

Isn't it crazy the things we will feel ashamed about? Girl, you are not alone. There are multitudes who will be helped by your sharing your story. Your DNA predisposed you to this problem. I'm so glad you have found a product that helps you manage it. Big hugs and blessings ~ tanna

My grandfather was diabetic, and my dad was. I am always waiting for the hammer to fall or shoe to drop or whatever the expression is. Because of the fibro, I have to restrict refined sugar consumption almost completely (OK... completely) and restrict carbs too. I would love to try this.

I can't think of a recipe right now because I'm in a brain fog. I'll try to come back with one.

And I don't have facebook. Sigh.

So glad you found something healthy you love!

Diabetes runs in my family, yet I don't have it. Don't blame yourself. I know healthy, skinny people with it!

Well, I think we've talked about this before, but I'm diabetic, too. And, I'm ashamed to say, that I don't check my blood sugar very often. But, it's never been extremely high. I don't have to take anything...yet. My dad had it and the doctor said the adult onset type usually is genetic. I know I need to cut out sugar, but never found a sweetner I could like. I've tried stevia, but don't remember the brand. I'll have to try NuNatural. I'm not on Facebook, so I can't sign up for the giveaway.
The dog is funny and I completely agree with the Lift! Have a good day and weekend!

You already know that my grandma is diabetic and I don't ever want to be. I would love to bake something for her with this. I do follow you, lol, but I don't have a facebook page.
I love Kermit!

First off, now that is what I call marking off territory!! What a talented dog. LOL

As for this product, I've tried some before. And yes, you don't have to be diabetic. But, even if you ARE diabetic, the answer to it all is moderation. Moderation in everything, even moderation. There's no cure, it's just eating right. And for some, sugar substitutes don't work. I found my sweetener to be honey.

Theresa said...

Never heard of this but I will share it with the diabetics in my family! Have a blessed day dear Sandie, HUGS!

CalamityJr said...

I haven't heard of this product before, but it would be wonderful to make my DH a special treat - after all, anyone who has been Type I diabetic for 52 years deserves recognition! Don't include me, though, as I'm not on Facebook so can't "like" NuNaturals.
