THIS IS WHY YOU SHOULD NEVER GIVE UP!

A man had two of the best tickets for the Augusta Masters...

As he sat down, another man came along and asked if anyone was sitting in the seat next to him..

"No", he said, "the seat is empty."

"This is incredible!" said the man, "who in their right mind would have a
seat like this, the biggest golfing event of the whole world, and not use it?"

He said, "Well, actually, the seat belongs to me. My wife was supposed to
come with me, but she passed away. This is the first Masters we haven't been together since we got married."

"Oh... I'm sorry to hear that. That's terrible. I guess you couldn't find
someone else?.. a friend or relative or even a neighbor to take the seat?"

The man shook his head...

...."No. They're all at the funeral."

Here's an entertaining three minutes from the students of Purdue University .

I hope these kids got an "A" for this project! I wonder if we'll see this on TV soon ....maybe during the next Super Bowl?

A Coke ad.

Can you imagine any other country in the world having a company with the imagination to produce something like this--and the amateur talent-Purdue University 's Mechanical Engineering students--to pull it off?

The result--a Coke ad--three minutes of pure entertainment!!!

Tuition money well spent !!!

GRANDMAS ARE SMART

I was out walking with my grandson. He
picked up something from the ground and started to put it in his mouth.
I took the item away from him and I asked him not to do that.

"Why?" my grandson asked.

I replied, "because it's been on the
ground and you don't know where it's been. It's dirty and probably
has germs, and sometimes germs make little boys sick and not feel
good."

At this point, my grandson looked at me
with total admiration and asked, "Grandma, how do you know all this
stuff?? You are so smart."

I was thinking quickly and said to him,
"All Grandmas know stuff. It's on the Grandma Test. You have
to know it, or they don't let you be a Grandma."

We walked along in silence for two or
three minutes; he was evidently pondering this new information.
"Oh...I get it! He beamed, so if you don't pass the test you have to be the
Grandpa."

"Exactly," I replied with a big smile on my face.

  Priests Retirement Dinner.

A Priest was being honored at his retirement dinner after 25 years in the parish. A leading local politician and member of the congregation was chosen to make the presentation and to give a little speech at the dinner.

However, he was delayed, so the Priest decided to say his own few words while they waited:
'I got my first impression of the parish from the first confession I heard here. I thought I had been assigned to a terrible place. The very first person who entered my confessional told me he had stolen a television set and, when questioned by the police, was able to lie his way out of it. He had stolen money from his parents, embezzled from his employer, had an affair with his boss's wife, taken illegal drugs, and gave VD to his sister. I was appalled.
But as the days went on, I learned that my people were not all like that and I had, indeed, come to a fine parish full of good and loving people.'

Just as the Priest finished his talk, the politician arrived full of apologies at being late. He immediately began to make the presentation and gave his talk:

'I'll never forget the first day our parish Priest arrived,' said the politician. 'In fact, I had the honor of being the first person to go to him for confession.'

Moral: Never, Never, Never Be Late

Good jokes so like a pollie they spend a lot of time saying the wrong thing usually they are not caught out so quickly.
I often watched the grand final in your football with my son, I don't know any of the rules or how to play the game but i always enjoyed the add, he was keen on it as a kid and played it over here, not many teams here only very small.

I laughed at the picture of the moment when you realize you're grown up cartoon! Years ago, the Superhero and I and two youngest sons sat in a hammock together for a picture when it fell to the ground! We have the greatest picture of us all on the ground in that hammock! Now if I could just find the picture!

Have a happy Mother's Day!!!
