Fun Friday With a Little Help From My Friends

 photo 000_MOUSIE245bmp.gif

WHAT DAY OF THE WEEK IS IT? IT'S FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was visiting my daughter last night when I asked if I could borrow a
newspaper.

"This is the 21st century," she said. "We don't waste money on
newspapers. Here, use my iPad."

I can tell you this: that fly never knew what hit him.
(Thank you Kim at MIllie's Mats)

A TRIP TO MEXICO CONTINUED - Doesn't that beach look wonderful and clean?

Ann from Ann's Snaps and Edit sent this to me - it is so cool - do you think people can be made into a car or a car into people?

http://www.autoblog.com/2013/07/11/fiat-500-abarth-made-from-models-in-body-paint-w-video/?icid=maing-grid7|maing10|dl21|sec1_lnk3&pLid=343150

Did I ever tell you he is going to be another Robbin Williams?

If My Body Was a Car!

This is just
too funny - scary how true it is!!!
If my body was a car, this is the time I would be thinking about trading it in for a newer model. I've got bumps and dents and scratches in my finish and my paint job is getting a little dull...
But that's not the worst of it.

My headlights are out of focus,
and it's especially hard to see things up close.

My traction is not as graceful as it once was. I slip and slide and skid and bump into things even in the best of weather.

My whitewalls are stained with varicose veins.

It takes me hours to reach my maximum speed. My fuel rate burns inefficiently.

But here's the worst of it.

Almost every time I sneeze, cough or sputter,Either My Radiator Leaks or My Exhaust Backfires!
Thank you Jerry at Asthecrackerheadcrumbles.

Okay, okay - I give up!

I'm joining Sandee at Feline Friday - just click here.

All good stuff you shared today. If my body were a car, it'd have to go in for a few repairs for sure! Robin Williams is a favorite of mine! I hope you have a fantastic Friday.

Ha ha ha ha ha That was a good one, Sandie.

I've always enjoyed used model cars. My current one is a 2005 and I hope it lasts forever. In that sense, if I were a car, I'd still be put-put-putting along. ha hahahhaha Susan

What a fun post today. The next Robin Williams, my body as a car. Too close for comfort and I loved the space shuttle in the streets of L.A.

The best though was our feline babies.

Have a terrific Feline Friday. Big hugs. ☺

Really cute pictures of the GS - He is such a lovable *ham*!!

Yup, my "car" is a bit mile-weary. Runs out of gas on a regular basis, it's hard to get the engine started in the mornings, and most of all, it spends most of the day just parked in one place!

Have a great weekend!

Betsy Banks Adams said...

Hi Sandie, My fav. today was about the CAR.... Cute!!!!! BUT--I was also thinking that most of us pay more attention to our cars, and spend more money on keeping them in good shape than we do on ourselves and our bodies!!!!!!

Love the laugh and the lift.
Hugs,
Betsy

Goodness, the ipad has me LOL! What do you suppose they will use in the future when all the newspapers are gone? I don't think I have ever owned a real fly swatter. Newspapers have always done the trick for me too!

Some people play with their cats by shining a red light - making it travel all over a room . . . Cats go cray wild trying to catch the light - cats get exercise - humans get joy.

Enjoyed the newspaper joke. I'll always have a paper newspaper. So your grandson is another Robin Williams. Must never be a dull moment. Boy, he's getting bigger. Things have gotten very hectic lately, but I'll be back soon. I'm just not getting online much lately.

Hi there, this is Lucy, the lucky one that lost out on a previous visit a few years back from Sherry and Jack because I was having a hard time getting the Atrial fribulation under control and had to turn them down on a lunch invite. I was so disappointed. This visit made up for it. So you are the car enthusiast??

Susan J. Reinhardt said...

Love that last quote. We waste a lot of time and energy looking in the rear view mirror of life.

Sorry I've been AWOL. With working full-time and getting the book ready for publication, I haven't been on the Net much.

Blessings,
Susan :)

True about the body/car business. Must admit, if my body was a car I wouldn't EVEN be interested in buying it. :(

Have yourself a sweet new week!
...oh, and CONGRATULATIONS on the new grand-nephew! :)

Hi Sandie,
Great post as usual!
Your uplifting message of joy
always brights up my days.
Friday is my favourite day.
I love your good laughs, Sandie.
Thank you for sharing, my friend!
Doctor Paul is still on vacation.
He demands my attention so much.
I spoke with my daughter.
She told me her eldest child, 16,
wants to be a Medical Doctor,
Specialized in Children Pediatrics.
That was great news after all.
God may bless you, Sandie, family
and beloved ones.
Hugs,
Starry.

Fell off the planet for a few days so your Fun Friday turned into Mirth Monday for me.

I love the one about the car the best. The radiator part just cracked me up. I tried not to crack up too hard, though, lest mine start leaking.
