Fun Friday with a little help from my friends.....

I don't know about you all - but I do know this is true for me.
 I LOVE FRIDAYS!
I don't think there is much hat could make me mad on Fridays.
Or much that could get me down on Fridays.
That is why I post for sure on Fridays.

Don't regular children throw temper tantrums like this?
At what age do they stop?

My thinking of a Monday.
Technology changes every living things lives.

My grandson's way of saying, "I didn't mean to!"

I have heard some say we deserve medals for how hard we had to work for our grades - no pushing of a button for us.

Or Disco

If you believe this one let me know - I have some property to sell yah!

Said Mr. Chatty to Mrs. Chatty

Who else can do it?

A lesson for the men out there.

On a bitterly cold winter morning a husband and wife in Hixon were listening
to the radio during breakfast. They heard the announcer say, "We are going
to have 8 to 10 inches of snow today. You must park your car on the
even-numbered side of the street, so the Snow plows can get through."
So the good wife went out and moved her car.
A week later while they are eating breakfast again, the radio
announcer said, "We are expecting 10 to 12 inches of snow today.
You must park your car on the odd-numbered side of the street, so
the snow plows can get through."
The good wife went out and moved her car again.
The next week they are again having breakfast, when the
radio announcer says, "We are expecting 12 to 14 inches of snow
today. You must park...." Then the electric power went out.
The good wife was very upset, and with a worried look on her face
she said, "I don't know what to do. Which side of the street do I need to
park on so the snow plows can get through?"
Then with the love and understanding in his voice that all
men who are married to blondes exhibit, the husband replied,
"Why don't you just leave the car in the garage this time."

A HELPFUL TIP - thanks Monica

Now that I am retired, I don't really pay much attention to what day of the week it is. The only way I know it is Saturday is that Steve makes bacon for breakfast.

But when I worked, Friday was my favorite. I would stay up late on Friday night because I could and savor that I had 2 full days coming to ME and I could do whatever I pleased.

Happy Friday!

Awe, why are you tired? I hope that you are alright.

Today I wish that I was a baby Elephant in cool, cool mud and the time is Springtime. My Blood Pressure is very high and I am holding on to hope that it will get lower. Your blog certainly made me laugh and feel good inside. Thanks!

So far so good!

I will admit Friday was always the best day of the week when I was working but now I like Monday now I'm retired just because I once hated it so much.

Lots of fun things here today. That battery testing method is
incredible. I have some batteries that got mixed up and I have no idea which are GOOD and which are BAD-now I know how to test them.
Happy Friday to you- xo Diana

I liked prehistoric googling. Do kids still go to the library to do reports? Such a different world now. I guess all the door to door encyclopedia salesmen have gone out of business.

Hi Sandie Dear!
Cute, sweet, fun, endearing, thought provoking and true! You know I love them all but I do remember my Mom telling me no one would ever love me as much as her-she was right, of course! Why does it take soo long to figure out that our parents were always right?
Love,
Jemma

love the Friday dog, the horse thing has happened to me but I don't recall him apologizing to me, and the promise to my kids is oh so true. Kids do not grow up til they are parents and some, not even then...
Oh, the battery thing really does work. Thanks Sandie

Starry Dawn said...

Hi girl, Sandie,
Oh! I love Fridays as much as you do. I love every single spot in this post, especially the one with the baby elephant, and the old lady complaining to her hubby about forever love and care...
The batteries' video is also good.
I think you are fantastic in every single way, sweet Sandie.
Thank you for posting your comments in My Nature Blog last post for this year! But, I don't think you read it to the very end, because I am reporting very sad news in there...
I am so glad you take good care of your beloved ones, including your grandson's loving puppy, Disco.
Of course, this is the way it should always be in normal countries with nice civilized folks. Thank you again for reading my posts, and writing to me!
God bless you, my dear friend.
Blessings,
Starry.

Hi Sandy - I always love your take on life .. the elephants stomping around .. and I'm not sure when they grow up?! Sleeping - yes .. that sounds like an excellent idea - yet I don't do it .. lots to do I guess .. and the car story - honestly!

Cheers to you all and Disco or 5 miles! happy week as it's now Tuesday .. Hilary
