Fun Friday with a little help from my friends.....well sort of....

Okay the time has come!

“Every now and again take a good look at something not made with hands- a mountain, a star, the turn of a stream. There will come to you wisdom and patience and solace and, above all, the assurance that you are not alone in the world.”

GOD IS THERE.......

Okay - my surgery is June 11th so this will be my last post for awhile.
I've been trying to keep us ALL happy and laughing because ...

My surgery is at 1:30 pm.  I have to be in there at 8 am.  They're going to give me some radio active material to light up my world, ah no I mean my  lymph glands and then the doctor will be able to pick which ones she wants to look at. More information then we both want to know - right?

So let's have some fun today.
dog photo snoopydancinggif.gif

First I want to thank y'all.

I have had so many wonderful things happen to me since my diagnosis.
I wish I could name everyone here, but I am afraid of forgetting someone or something.

So many letters and emails that have kept me going.     Thank you.
I have had so many prayers offered and support.     Thank you.
Gals that have gone through it writing me.       Thank you.
I have had so much good advice and help.     Thank you.
I have gotten some wonderful little gifts.      Thank you.
I have been taken out to lunch!           Thank you.
I have friends who are angels.   Thank you.
Made a song for me - below.     Thank you.
I have received cards.       Thank you.
Blog prayers for me.    Thank you.

I mean if this wasn't cancer I'd think it was a celebration!    Thank you.

Say do you like my doctor...???

It has only been by God's wonderful grace and my friends wonderful prayers that I'm doing okay and seemingly peaceful - you will NEVER know how much that means to me.

I TOTALLY BELIEVE in the POWER of PRAYER.
You have held me up! You have been my grace along with God.

GRACE IS A WONDERFUL GIFT!

Of course my prayer is that I make it through the surgery and that the cancer has not spread.   That all the cancer is removed during the surgery.

Now that is what I want, but who knows what the outcome will be......... but if something else shows up - I pray that I will be able to face it with the dignity I have seen in others....... there are so many other brave women (and men) that I am friends with or have read about that are brave too....KUDOS  to you

women photo ATT00042-1.gif

I have friends right now going through treatment - and there are others with different, but just as important health issues too.  They are hurting just as much as I am and are being brave as well.  Some have spouses dealing with issues.
Kudos to you too.

I tell myself - remember this - HE will be there facing it all with me.  I am not alone  and neither will you!

I find the blog world one of the most caring and positive places I know.
I tell you God has blessed me via the Blog world.  It has been amazing.

I love you guys!  I am grateful for you all!

If you want to get in contact with me my daughter is handling things for me and Kelly's email is :             czkk at comcast dot net

I won't be going through anymore posts until I come back.
I'm going to spend time hanging with my family and answering emails.

I love this.

Try  to be happy and enjoy life - remember to look for the good things - look for beauty - colors - the unusual things the Lord made -
it is all there for us to enjoy and be grateful for.

NOW FOR SOME FUN!

My friend Zoe made this for me and I am going to be watching this on Wednesday!  It is so funny!

JIBJAB - Be Happy!

Now a blogger of old - she sent me this - about earth suits, because mine is going to be changing - and this meant so much to me.

Disco sends his love....even though he stole his boy's pizza ...

......oh yes he did!

Covering you with prayers for sure that day. You know what is reassuring when I think of things like this is God knows what the outcome is already and whatever it is, He is going to continue walking along side with you and will give you the strength, wisdom, comfort, patience, whatever it is that is needed. I loved the dance, too cute; that made me smile and I loved what Mare wrote about with earth suits; that is a great way to think about our earthly temporary bodies.

((((Sandie)))

I totally agree with you for taking this time before your surgery to spend as much time as you can with your family!

You are in God's hands, they are strong and capable hands.

Sandie, I saw your beautiful face on someone else's blog, and I thought, "OH, good, Sandie's still blogging."

As you know, I abandoned my Fill My Cup with Beauty blog many moons ago, to devote myself solely to classic film blogging. I have grown weary of being so focused and have recently started a new blog.

I wasn't sure if you were still blogging...until I saw that beautiful familiar face on another blog.

I'm so sorry to learn that you have been given a cancer diagnosis. I will be praying for you...that your surgery is completely successful and that every trace of cancer is removed from your body. May you be restored to radiant good health.

Love,
Patti

I'm praying with and for you, Sandy. This is such a surprise for me. We've been out of the country for a month and a half and I'm just now catching up.

Eat lots of cookies while you aren't blogging. Oreos are the easiest if you have to sneak them. Just don't let naughty Disco find your stash.

Best cartoon to me was Dr. Sawbones. He sawed my knee in two with that big saw but he shouldn't be using it on you.

I still will pray for you (I do some times now, before this) for sure until you are back to cancer free. You are special in God's eyes and to me.

I will be praying for you to have the same peace that the Lord blessed me with the day of my surgery! It is my prayer that when you first wake from surgery you hear the good news that it was not found in your lymph nodes!
