Blog Tour

A friend of mine, Susan at Writing Straight From the Heart asked me to do a blog tour with her.  I don't do things like this, but I made an exception - because she is a good friend and I couldn't say no to her - she's wonderful.
Her blog is Writing Straight From the Heart!
PLEASE GO VISIT HER.

I believe Susan and I have been friends for - well it is her five year blog anniversary - nearly four if not five years.
What I really love about her blog - is it is indeed from Susan's heart.
There is a beautiful photograph - showing things she loves from her heart.
Then she'll tell you a thing or two.
Then she''ll ask you a question.
It's always a good length to enjoy.
She is a very good friend.
And always positive!!
Please look her up and say hi from Sandie.

Next on my agenda is that my grandson went back to school today an 8th grader!!!
Yikes - that means I am getting old.
My daughter went back to teaching two weeks ago.
Now my vacation starts.
They keep me busy in the summer time.

8th Grade

5th grade

Kindergarten

He is not the cutest thing?
But alas he is getting that teenage personality if you know what I mean....a little moody.

THE LAUGH:

In honor of my grandson - do you get it?
Thanks Joyce.

THE LIFT:

Chatty and Grandson at Cumberland Mall - The Cheesecake Factory.
The report on me is great.  I'm doing fantastic I'd like to say totally done, but I don't know if you can be totally done with cancer.
I'm blessed one for sure!!!
I'm not going to forget it either!!!

Awesome news on your medical reports. You went through so much and now you are on the good side of things. That rocks.

Your grandson is adorable indeed. They grow up too fast though.

Have a fabulous day my friend. Big hugs and scritches to Disco. :)

No, you see things a bit differently than I....WE ARE THE ONES that are blessed. We have your friendship.

And if you think being old is a grandson that is entering 8th grade....my YOUNGEST grandson is entering his freshman year in COLLEGE in just 5 more days.

I enjoyed your post, as always! So happy your health reports continue to be good!

Wow, grand son really is starting to look like a young man and leaving the "boyish" looks behind. Eighth grade! Gosh where did the time go? I hope he has a successful school year! Now you get a little peace and quiet around the house (and a moping dog I'm sure as Disco I'm sure misses grand son).

I did get the picture of the kids in the water, LOL, Took me a minute, but I got it :)

OK, I'm going to humiliate myself here in front of God and Blogland and admit, "I don't get it?"

Andy is growing into such a handsome young man! Suppose Disco ever wonders when he'll get tall, as well? LOL.

Debbie said...

I don't think I have been to that blog. I will make a visit over there tomorrow.

I loved the photo of your GS ready for school. I can hardly believe how grown up he had gotten. He is so handsome, too!

I loved teaching 8th grade. Actually,I love 8th graders, especially the boys. It's a good age for them. Hope that encourages you, even if he is moody at times. I really hope this is his best year ever.

I'm so happy that the report continues to be good for you. I hate cancer with all my heart. It is such a "life thief".

hi Chatty Chat Chat!
I have rested and I am back. I go to Huntsman tomorrow morning for a blood test and perhaps chemo 6 but if she gives me a choice I am opting out for one more week. Be sure and see my post tomorrow for details.

I have missed you and will hopefully be regular (not chemo altered) tomorrow and all next week cuz I want to have some fun again on my blog, for heaven sakes in months!!!! I'll do the chemo 6 eventually, I will. But right now, I want to wait. (pray that I get to wait) ♥

I have to confess, Susan did the Blogland tour as a favor for me, so you are in this via me Sandy. Thanks for helping her out. She is a wonderful blogger friend. Your grandchildren are all so cute. Happy to hear the good news on your reports.

I loved your Blog Tour, Sandie. Your grandkids sure are getting to be 'big kids'.
Ephesians 4:32 is one of my favorite Bible verses.
(And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.)
My MIL worked in her church nursery for over 50 years and would teach those old enough to learn that Bible verse.
One time she came in and the kids were fighting. She said, "Did you forget Ephesians 4:32?) They told her, "No, we just ain't doing it.)

I am glad to see your post. Your grandson has sure grown up fast..my oldest is starting her senior year and I don't know how this happened! :)

Well chemo 6 is scheduled for Monday morning. Their lab computer crashed on Friday, so instead of me waiting around and possibly getting chemo as late as 5 pm., my nurse said to schedule for another day next week. Tuesday and Wednesday were booked (days my Dr. prefers) so I had to pick Monday, because my blood work was really great and they wanted the chemo to work with that new great blood. That blood they infused did marvelously. Great sign = means not much cancer cells go to it. or that there aren't any more in me as of now anyway. Yay!!!

Thanks for you kind words as always and have a great week. I know mine will be yuck and then it will gradually get better and better and better until chemo is gone and never coming back. Yay!!! Again!!!

♥, Renae

Hi Sandie, sweet friend,
I am glad you feel better.
Your grandson is growing so fast.
You look great in the photo with your handsome grandson.
Time flies, and he is back to school days. The Summer will soon be over. Do you like Winter time?
Did you move to your new home?
Well, Have you find one, at least?
Do you drive your car? Or, Do your family drive you to places?...
It is much better to drive oneself to wherever one pleases to go to.
My hubby RETIRED. So, he is home and feeling so poorly low...
Something sad happened last week.
I'll tell you in my email...
So, I don't spend much time in the computer, due to these reasons.
God bless you, Sandie, family, beloved ones!
Blessings,
Starry.
