I might have forgotten how to write a post - but here goes.

Chatty Crone goofing around in a store called 2nd. and Charles.
We are saying hi to you.

Well peeps it has been a long time, but I wanted to say hello - I think all the time about going back to blogging regularly, but I just know how much work it is and I am not ready to do that.  I did want to say hello and that I love all my friends!  I really do.  It is just too much for me to keep up so I don't, but I wanted to check in and tell you I am alright and see how you all are doing. Let's say a quarterly report.

Can you believe I actually wrote a book called Full Circle?

LIFE HAS GONE FULL CIRCLE FOR ME FOR REAL!!!

My life has gone 'full circle' this past year.  We put the house up for sale last year JULY 4th. I packed a lot of things just knowing the house would sell fast. HA!  It didn't sell so by October we took it off the market for the holidays.  Around Christmas the daughter started dating an old beau. The two of them actually decided to get married in June.   The hubs and I decided that once again we would try to sell the house.  Now remember things were still packed up all this time.  We put in a new carpet and had the house painted.  Well the house looked clean and a bit boring I admit - and we don't have an updated kitchen - but it is a big, solid house in good repair.

We showed the house 42 times which was a big pain in the butt, but why wasn't it selling?
My daughter, grandson, and dog, Disco moved out in May 2.  My daughter was out not one week when she started finding out the truth about her fiance.  They were not good things at all and having four children didn't help things either.

She changed her mind and asked if she could move back home - with grandson - and Disco!  Well what can I say about that?

Okay I haven't really been here for you - BUT if you email me I will answer you!!!

REMEMBER TO LAUGH - IT IS MEDICINE FOR THE SOUL!

We watched every single piece of furniture that had moved out one month  prior - came right back in.

We are back to a completely full house again.

We have decided to stay here - so after we brought all her stuff back in - I unpacked all of the items I had packed a year ago and hubs put all the pictures back on the wall.  It is a real home again.  The grandson is thrilled because he really didn't want to leave, but he wanted to make things work. He is starting his first year in high school and has four more years till he graduates and we will re-evaluate things then.

You know what I think - I think God knew they would be back all along - and that no matter how many people came to see the house 42 or 1000 - if God didn't want it sold - it wasn't going to sold..  We had a couple really low ball offers, but said no to them.  Ironically we took it off the market JULY 4th.

So within the last year (actuality) - we went full circle.  Everything was packed - everything was unpacked.  A lot of emotions things going on too - trust me.  Tensions are high.  These is three generations trying to live together with all different views on life.

Tried a diet and finished it early!

We went swimming this summer and had friends over for pizza.  We left Disco at home and he got into a little trouble.

He was mad we got home before he got into the box!

Ok right after that we worked on our garage sale - we had been putting things in the garage all summer long.  It took a couple of weeks to get it set up and ready.  We had it last Friday and Saturday.  Then we took two car loads of the items left to Good Will - and now the house is ours again!!!  Well sort of - because now everyone thinks they can start saving things again and soon the house will be junked up again.

The two boys went up to Ohio to be with my son and his son and went camping when it was 97 degrees!

My boys look hot don't they?

Had surgery on my finger and it all turned out okay.

I have enjoyed good health and healing and I am grateful!!

This week my daughter started back to work teaching and my grandson had a couple weeks longer.  He goes to a Christian school and has to wear uniforms and buy books and had to get everything ready - so that took another couple of weeks.

Well that is what I have been doing this past year - it is why I am tired - and why I am not blogging much!!!

So what have you all been doing?
Tell me in your comments please.
I want to know what is going on with you!
How are things going?
What is going on?
I want to hear about you!

THINK/MUSE ABOUT GOOD THINGS!

I've shared some funnies with you - now to share something for you to think about - think about this - it is true!!!!!!!!!!

AND DON'T FORGET TO LIFT YOURSELF AND FEED YOUR SOUL EVERY DAY!

So leave me a comment and tell me something about Y O U !

See if you would just post something like this every now and then we'd all know you're fine. I love how you went full circle. If you would have sold your home it would not have worked out so well. I'm happy things are back to wonderful and I know how you love Disco and your grandson. This really rocks.

Have a fabulous day honey and remember I'm one of your blogging buddies that loves you bunches. ♥♥♥

Happy to see a post from you today :) I know how you feel. I still love blogging but I have little to share unless I take a trip. I use to get up and turn my computer on first thing in the morning. Now I catch up on TV programs from the night before, then when I am on the computer I am done within a few hours. I just wish I had motivation to clean my house!!!! I run away to the show to avoid it. Hello and I love you too. God obviously knew this before you did, otherwise the house would have sold. Definitely full circle!!! You know when we moved from our last house I got rid of 1/2 of our stuff. I just filled the new house up with more. Don't buy more, you have come to far!!!! Glad the guys got together to go camping. Sorry about your finger :( Take care dear friend and email me anytime you want to talk.

thanks for the update sweet friend, have really missed you. I have been busy recovering from my triple bypass, and life. I love you.

You have had a hectic year, showing your home 42 times, now that is tiring, and packing and then unpacking. I think your decision to stay til high school is completed makes sense. I am writing a children's book, and looking for a publisher for my Christian garden book. I enjoy blogging and writing short posts; maybe you could post one photo and a few words; that would be easier for you and we could stay in touch.

Hi Sweet Friend, Isn't it amazing when you look back on your year??? Things have truly come full circle...

I can't seem to find time to blog anymore much either --but we have not gone through any changes or turmoil... However, as you know, we are BIG into fitness, exercise and healthy eating these days ---and that truly takes up so much of my time. I'm just not on the computer as much --especially to comment. I do read other blogs --but seldom comment anymore. Just can't find the time...

I hope this next full year will be much CALMER for all of you and hope that all of the generations will continue to be happy together... God Bless ALL of you.

Hugs,
Betsy

What an incredibly busy, stressful year!! I can understand why your energies have been focused elsewhere besides Blog Land. You know, I've just got to say this about your daughter. Even though her heart must have been broken, I'm glad that she was led away from this marriage. God has a way of protecting us, even when we get hurt (for a time) in the process.

So, a full house again? Honestly, it sounds kinda wonderful! Who could resist having GS and Disco around with all their antics and shenanigans!!

It's been a busy year so far for us, too. We have recently had an answer to prayer in the situation about my mom. It's been a blessing to have some help.

Hope to see you more often...miss your trademark sense of humor!

GOD BLESS!

So good to see you here again if only for a little while. My blood platelets took another dive recently so I'm on big dose steroids trying to bring them up to where they were even though that wasn't as high as they should be but I was living with them that way and doing fine.

For some reason we have all taken a step back from all the blogging we use to do. I know it has been since my B-day in March since I have blogged. Maybe we'll all get back to it one day. Tell you something about me....I hate tomatoes. Surprised?

Sometimes we have to go on a life journey before we realize that there is no place like home. You certainly have have had some ups and downs these past few years and as you have said, you have come back to where you needed to be at this time. It is also good that your daughter had a place to return instead of staying in what might not have been a good situation for her, her son, and Disco.

My hubby retired a few months ago and we are both trying to adjust. For the past year or so, I have only been writing one (sometimes two) posts a month and just took July off from blogging. I did, though, read and comment on other's posts and plan on getting back to my previous schedule soon. It is not always easy after time has gone by. I do notice that many of the people who once wrote often have faded from the pages and I guess that is to be expected. It is hard to keep that schedule up and live the life we want.

Take care, dear Sandy, stay well, and be sure that you find some lovely roads to travel down today and in the future.

You sure have had a lot going on in your life in the past year. It's so nice to see a post from you today. With me there really isn't much new. Pretty much same old same old.

It's sooo good to 'see' you again, Sandie! I totally get where you feel pressed for time. Right now I'm working sometimes 50 hours each week, so getting around to as many folk as I'd like presents a challenge.
Thanks for the recap; you know what they say, everything happens for a reason.

YAY! Happy to see you. I totally get it about the house. I felt the same way when we took ours off the market.

What did you need surgery for on the finger? Glad it turned out okay.

I was so happy to see a post from you in my inbox, and so happy to read all about what your life has been like since I last heard from you, yes blogging is a lot of work and some of us don't always feel like we have the time to do it but that is ok.

Selling a home is often easier in our dreams then in real life well I have heard that since I am a renter I don't really know what it is like.

I was SO happy to see your blog pop up in my Feedly today!! I miss you here but am happy we see each other on Facebook. It was good to catch up with you and what's been going on. Not much new in my world, but I do write it all down in my blog (grinning). Miss you and love you!! Glad you finger is okay, and I can't believe your grandson is going to be a freshman. Time flies.

Hello Sandie!
So happy to see your post here!
And yes, I do believe that your house did not sell for a REASON. It all worked all for the best!
My goodness, you have been busy!
I also have been super busy. The typing at my job has almost TRIPLED, along with all my other jobs at work. My neighborhood is a bit...well, challenging, I suppose you could call it. (Latest thing, crazy neighbors has CHICKENS running around in the yard, and we do NOT live in the country, but a crowded subdivision!
My son is still working at The Beer Connoisseur Magazine! If you go the website you can see the posts written by Christopher Guest!
Glad you are better after your surgery. You don't know how much you appreciate all the pieces of your body until you hurt something.
Hope you are making it through our hot summer, fellow Georgia Girl!
Love,
Kay xx

So glad to see a picture of you and a post from you, Sandie :) I know it can be so tiring with blogging especially with everything going in as it has in your life. It will be good to reconsider the house in four years after grandson graduates high school (hard to believe he will be a freshman this year!). Staying put through the high school years can be a good thing I think! Sounds like it has been an interesting summer for you all with all those unexpected changes with daughter/grandson moving out, moving back in, etc. Glad to hear the surgery on your finger went well too!

You probably know all that has been happening with me, son/girlfriend getting married (I think in October, I saw the date on facebook, but they haven't said anything to us yet about it), getting ready to be a grandmother in February, waiting for the house to sell, etc.

Hope you have a great rest of the summer. I am glad to have "caught up" on your life a bit. xo Diana

It's wonderful to hear from you and find out all the news. WOW! You've been through a lot! I know you will be glad to settle back into your home and take that worry off your list. My news? It's been hot here in Florida so I've been sewing more and reading. We are keeping an eye on a nest of ducks at the mall so we try to drive over there to see if they are hatched every few days. Exciting, isn't it? heehee! Sweet hugs, Diane

Life, thee is just so much that happens... so your daughter moved back, and that's why you didn't sell your house. Rays house in TN was apparently on the market for 2 years before he bought it, so when we decided to sell and move to Oz, he didn't think it would go quickly. BUT, there are secrets in selling a house.. First, get rid of clutter, so that it looks the rooms look larger inside.. next, have bread or a cake baking, the smell is homely. Turn lights on, it brightens mood, soft music is also a good one. Keep the outside very tidy also. Well we had 3 people look and all wanted it, but the third one quickly put their money down. We sold and were out in 2 months.. Glad your health is picking up.. much love sent. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hello my friend....LOL...you sound like what we did in 2010. We put the house up for sale, took it off the market and are still here. I have been considering coming back to blog....ironically, you and a couple others who had stopped, have begun again....Maybe it is a "sign".

I need to have cataract surgery...my vision is so bad and I have had ringing in my ears since Super Bowl this year...See how exciting my life has been?

Hugs to you!

So here I thought I was being a lousy friend and not stopping by to see you...but you weren't blogging anyway! :) For what it's worth, I do think of you often. Glad things are smoothing out and settling back in for you all. Life is rarely completely boring, right?

Been doing well here, just busy, and trying to cut back so I am not so busy. Spending a lot of time with my 7 year old grandson - it's always fun and interesting. Getting ready to help my daughter in law with a little homeschool learning co-op for my grandson and some of his friends. The first month's topic is sharks, and guess who drew the short straw and gets to help the kids dissect one? Yeah, that would be me. :)

Have a happy rest of the summer. Sending love and hugs your way! xo

Hi Sandie, sweet dear friend,
Glad you are back BLOGGING again!
We love you & miss you so much. You know that...
I'd rather prefer to hear about you, about your life, not about me -a boring lady.
About me, I think I mentioned before that I've been unwell and very sad, still Overseas.
My days are basically the same every day, not much difference anyway...
We are at home watching the walls, caring for our 2 cats, and that is all for me.
I think I have said a lot about me in the past years. So, I expect to hear more from you.
I wish my life were better, and with other better things to do.
My days were much brighter with joy when you used to send me Emails often.
My daughter and grandchildren don't call me, don't write to me, don't care.
Now, on top of all the bad things going on in my life,
it adds up living without my friends, well, I feel my life will soon be over.
I feel so lonely and depressed that I could just cry and cry...
I need the love of my friends, who I consider my family in Christ.
I just love when people write to me, post their comments in my posts,
show some sort of interest in me, or in my art, in my poems, in my writings.
If they ignore me, I feel dead inside. Can you understand that sort of feeling?
Sending all my loving on your way, Sandie.
Starry.
